  1. It was great. well organised, well run and the guys and girls on the course were spot on. I'll do it again.
  2. As much as I am sure you lot are wringing your hands and trolling somewhat.. Have a word. hope that idiot dies is not a nice sentiment is it? Be lovely for the family of someone who died to come on here and see this? EDIT to add - the rider in that first video is a pillock and needs to learn to read a road and to ride within his limits.
  3. I lived there when I first moved to Sheffield in 1998. Had 3 flats in total and moved away for good in 2001 I enjoyed it...but it was rough as beans. It will still stink of ****, still have idiots about but they were solid enough flats. I do wonder if some of them are still guano infested rank-holes...suspect so. Now, no, thanks. It should have been demolished and made into a nice city park area
  4. Same reason people ride 1200cc adventure bikes instead of Xt500s...because you can
  5. My dog has chased a fox from our back garden and off down the street..don't think it is coming back. I've also seen foxes in Parkbank wood and crossing the Greenhill Parkway too. There are loads more out there.. It will come to pass that there will be a cull required...they are vermin at the end of the day. Stinky buggers.
  6. I've seen a deer in Ladies Spring wood when walking with my dag - It was nice to see.
  7. Why do you think these people are using it? It is over hyped isn't it? Why not have a nice meal? I doubt it very much that any professional athlete - especially footballers - are using it. Have you any sources for the claims?
  8. I'll be there at Graves..my 4th one. I am amazed at how many run at Hallam (Endcliffe Park, right?>) Sod that... I'm trying to train for a duathlon so I'll be turning up on my bike after a few warmup k's - probs via my house, ringinglow, endcliffe park and the hump up meadowhead... Should be fresh for the 5k then..or not! I only started running about 4 months ago - did the c25k podcasts and went from incapable to getting a 25m08 pb on my second parkrun! Amazed!
  9. Once upon time I used the Sheffield Alcohol Advisory Service on Abbeydale road - not suer on the number - about 650 ish, bottom of woodseats road near the car places. They helped me a lot..and I am sorted these days... Good luck
  10. It is in a nice area - 10 mins to Hathersage and the Peak. Southside of Sheffield is a nice place all round I reckon
  11. there is a place in Chesterfield - spire leathers or another called crusader or something..centurion? Something very cheesy never used them..but there you go..
  12. I suppose you would rather get to hospital dead and having obeyed the rules of the road?
