Don't think theyve raised any since the outset. There are some that I think have been raised after serious damage, they have a tarmac "collar" around the edges, these do seem to last a while.

I suffered a dent on the steel rim, I rolled the car forward so the dent was at its lowest point, then I used a short piece of steel bar (ie, a drift) about an inch thick, and using a lump hammer struck the bar (rim) hard a few times and it straightened out fairly well. The edge of the bar might have to be filed so it doesn't catch the tyre.

When you say "indicator not put out", was it one of those cars that had the little semiphore arms that flicked up on the door pillar? 🙂

I recall, (many years ago) pulling into the fuel station adjacent to Hadfields Jaguar on Sharrow Vale Rd, where two smartly dressed young ladies were offering customers a pinch of snuff. Obviously being promoted by the nearby snuff makers.

The builder has probably done this, and possibly removed some internal walls as well, to render the house uninhabitable which can de-classify it from council tax.
