8.1 is ok when you're using to the massive changes. But i only recommend you get any form of Windows 8 on a Touchscreen as that is what it's designed for. Windows 7 is designed for Desktop PCS that arn't touch screen, 7 will work on Touch but it's better for normal PCS/Laptops and Netbooks.
