Looking to move to Richmond park view
gaze1981 replied to girlracer74's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
It's 20 self contained 'flats' within one large building, with communal living areas etc. It's run by Sanctuary Housing and when they first announced it, they said it would be for women and children only. It's due to be signed off by Keepmoat on 20 October, so I think people will be moving in soon. Sanctuary told me that it will be a range of people living there..... could be women fleeing abuse, asylum seekers, released prisoners.... anyone who is homeless and in need really. http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1142661 -

I have a BT Smartphone for my landline, which can also block private, withheld, international or payphone numbers. You can also set it to block specific numbers, or set it to just allow certain numbers. You can get apps for your mobile depending on your phone, such as 'Mr Number' which I have. You can set this to block withheld / private numbers as well.

Sheffield Local TV - Sheffield Live
gaze1981 replied to mattpyle's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Many other local TV channels are on Sky. Channel 117 is reserved for local TV. It just seems that Sheffield Live haven't managed to get themselves on there. Sky can limit things down to postcode level, not just regionally. -
BT Fibre Attercliffe and Meadowhall exchanges
gaze1981 replied to JeffGlore's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
So, about a year on from when this thread was started, will this latest deal offer some hope of an Attercliffe exchange upgrade? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-29273411 "A £22m deal has been agreed between BT and councils in South Yorkshire to extend the availability of high-speed fibre broadband in the region. The new project will be jointly funded by BT and Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster councils, with local authorities paying about £7.5m. It will make fibre broadband available to 98% of homes and businesses by 2017." I'm on the Attercliffe exchange and get between 0.5 and 1 meg which was bad enough when I was just web browsing. But I really could do with fibre now, with Sky On Demand downloads and other devices connected to the wifi. -
You mean they aren't for when you're parked on double yellows, but just nipping into the shop?

:hihi: This forum gets better by the day :hihi: Maybe if people like you removed the stick from their arse and lightened up, the UK wouldn't be in the state it is today. Just in case you're actually being serious, I'd give this number a call. They might be able to help you out 0300 123 3393. :hihi: (Yes. That's me laughing at cancer) -

Possibly connected to this...... https://twitter.com/KCInspector/status/505467541385654272 "Great result when officers responded to the Richmond area and arrested two for burglary. One of the two was already wanted for other crimes." 2:30 PM - 29 Aug 2014
