  1. Sounds interesting, Robert Englund needs to turn up in full make up though!
  2. Thanks, was more worried about all the different specifications they seem to state, I fear plugging all and finding one does not like it and wrecks a pedal due to plugging in and something not being compatible. Am I worrying about nothing? volts, amps, dc, ac, it all is gibberish to me.
  3. Being thick around such things, i've got the below and finally may plug them all up and use them, however no plugs and sick of using batteries. SO… I have seen various 'power banks' etc you can get for such things, but I'm confused by all the different options and wether they relate to my stuff, can anyone advise? I have the below and have stated what instructions or back of device state: EVH Flanger MXR Dunlop ECB-004 18VDC adapter with 5.5mm x 2.1mm positive barrel & negative center. EVH Phase 90 MXR Dunlop ECB03E, a 9volt DC regulated AC adapter Morley Classic WAH 9v 300 Milliamp Regulated Adapter Korg Pitch Black Tuner DC 9v Max 200mA out
  4. Anyone use Reaper? I can't even get past first bit of how to link in superior drummer, any tutorial goes on about how to record and mess with sounds...I can't even find out how to link them together! help!
  5. I started about 8 years ago and still don't know those chords.... hasn't stopped me writing tons of songs and playing in many bands.
  6. Just moved into a property that has a overhead shower, unfortunately i'm renting so can't go ripping it to pieces, but is there some kind of fitting i can get to replace the head of it so it's on a flexible cord or something? it's doing my head in.
  7. Has anyone had this done, i'm thinking of going for it, my prescription is pretty bad and have worn them for as long as i can remember. Wondering what people thought of it... a. where did you get it done b. how much did it cost c. are you happy with the service you got d. are you happy with the results oh and is the cost linked to how poor your eyesight is to start with? thanks ---------- Post added 26-05-2013 at 21:02 ---------- guess it didnt work as non of you saw this thread
  8. Yeah was thinking that part, but worried about possible charges/fines etc but suppose I could take the risk and cancel direct debit.
  9. I got out redundancy cover (£35 a month) in January as there were a lot changes going to be happening so was wise at the time, everything has panned out ok so want to cancel, the policy was for a year so know it's gonna be tricky, wondering what options people think I have (if any) It's with Legal and General by the way. I quote... 'If you decide you don't want this policy after 30 days, and you have not made a claim, we will charge you for the period that we have provided cover to you.' 'Your policy is an annual contract and we will therefore provide you with cover for 12 months, unless you fail to pay your premiums when due' 'If we don't receive the premium on or before it's due date, then we will write to you asking for payment. If you don't pay the unpaid premium within 10 days of our writing to you, we will cancel the policy.'
  10. they said they can't, well they can but would be classed as auto-recovery, didnt quiz them but assume that will hit my wallet a bit...but maybe only way?
  11. Just wondering if someone could advise on best route for me... Car has been declared off road for some-time, i'm needing to now get it back up and running, so need to sort out insurance, tax and mot. however.... If the car is in a bad way and completely fails the MOT and it isn't even worth doing but i've already signed up for a years insurance and road tax i'm assuming i'm a little stuffed and will be fighting to get some kind of refund. I know you can drive car to MOT if booked....but think this is IF you already have Insurance and Road Tax? so....what is best course of action?
  12. Classic Rock/Metal band require vocalist, we are mainly sheffield based and have about 20 songs already done and working on even more, own rehearsal space and gigs being offered and currently turned down pm or email me at strange_kinda_person@hotmail.com
  13. It's hard to judge, if you goto one of these studios and record 4 in a day then it's not gonna be as good as 1 in a weekend, so even listening to songs recorded doesn't give you much clue as you don't know how much went into them. Personally the best place I have recorded is Axis in Doncaster, realise it's a little bit out of sheffield but it's best i've used. edit: just realised i've copied what moosey said above in half of this.... clearly a clever guy
  14. Nothing to do with West Ham really, if they build the damn thing they need to have at least SOME idea how to make it pay in the future.
  15. Don't have soundcloud as yet....demo's not recorded....so here's a live track from my band Black Moon Rising http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jBM9VLIMgCw
