  1. I use Thorpes too as does my Dad for many years, they tell you exactly what the problem is if one is found. I've only had one done so far since i've not owned my car that long but i'll be going back to them.
  2. When i think monorail i think kiddy rides at theme parks. What i meant were proper elevated trains
  3. Has anyone thought about doing it ala Elevated Rail? Is it Chicago that has it or somewhere? It'd keep the roads clear.
  4. Haha, that's classic, you're talking about the police here.
  5. It's simple, if you are behind a slow vehicle it's illegal to overtake in the left lane because you are behind one car, thus not a queue The people behind you though can pass on the left since they're in a queue that's moving slowly It's a stupid rule really, i've been behind numpties that drive at 20 in a 40 or national limit. i just pass them. As discussed in another thread 'Undertaking' is when you do a task or you're burying/cremating someone who has died.
  6. Well, in my case women don't like taller men, i'm approximately 6'5 barefoot (used to be 6'7 but i've shrunk somehow) Perhaps i'm just not hunky enough (at all)
  7. That's fine then, let those taxes from the poeple running the buscompanies and those who use public transport go towards funding their bit of road and the cars, motorcycles and lorries (and any other non public transport) taxpayers money go to our bit of road. And then lets see whose road is better :hihi:
  8. Apparently only if it was Factory fitted LPG on a car produced 5 or so years ago. Mine's a (third-hand) Skoda Octavia 1.6 with LPG but it was fitted after sale and the year is 1999 so no reduced road tax for me. £175
  9. I went to Yewlands, left in 1995. My form tutor was Miss Round (the German teacher, not Science). http://www.yewlandspast.co.uk seems to be partly up and running.
  10. I think it's the "neccessity to get to work on time instead of being sacked" gene Haydn, Perhaps if the buses had run when they should and not cost more than my car to run and gone where i needed to go then i'd still be using them. I don't mind paying taxes for public transport as long as i can see that my taxes are being used well. I'd really prefer it if the council (or part of the council) ran the public transport in and around Sheffield.
  11. Depending on what chatrooms and forums you frequent, practically each week. No, it's not funny anymore and anyway, soon it'll soon include fluoride (another toxic chemical).... Yes, it does depend on dipsticks to make it funny.
  12. Is that Trolls AND imbeciles or Trolls OR imbeciles Joe (i guess i'd better be careful then )
  13. Does it say what they contain? Penecillin? etc i thought they listed the active ingredients on prescription medicine now too?
  14. Well, in my opinion Magna is crap (unless it's been changed since i last went - i think it was 2005 ). Too many things for chabs to play with and not enough for the adults (i wanted a go on the digger )
  15. No, when you were a kid everyone was on rations so there wasn't alot of food to eat skinnygit
