Where to buy live trout in or near sheffield
The_Bear replied to spudgun's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Theres plenty of old trout down West Street on a Friday night! -
Theres one at Gleadless Townend next to Sainsburys, called Tequilas or similar. It has some very busy nights with office partys etc. Think they have two sittings on these nights to fit them all in. Groups always meet up in the Red Lion pub next door. Must be good as there are always groups of dolled up women having a drink in the Red Lion before each sitting.

I found it difficult when shopping around for a memoryfoam bed also. A manufacturer will supply a mattress to one shop and give it a certain name, then supply the same mattress to another shop and give it a different name (perhaps at the request of the shop). This makes it impossible to choose a mattress and then try and compare prices. We ended up with an expensive Sealy model but found it unbearably hot to sleep in. We ended up getting our money back and bought a pocket sprung mattress instead.

Thanks for the reply, although that was for last years show I assume the start time should be the same.

Anyone know whats on at the Norton Show this Saturday, or what time it starts?

Anyone know if their Dronfield ground is seating only, or are there terraces to stand. Thinking of going to watch a game as I only live up the road but find stadium seating quite uncomfortable.

Ive been looking for info also but cant find any. We are going with friends but I dont even know what time it starts. The sign in the field states there is a car boot at 8am but thats all it says.

Ive been following the thread on the reopening of the Blackamoor pub in Trowey but some of the posts recommended this pub instead so I decided to visit. We all thought that the food was excellent. I had pigeon pie followed by shoulder of beef. For three adults & one child it cost £55 (including starters & drinks, but not desert as we were stuffed!) Overall, the food was of a very high standard with a good menu. Well worth a visit.

Anyone know where his grave is. One of the above links suggests Ecclesall?
