  1. Looking for insurance & I've just found something quite disgusting with car insurance quotes. The price has little to do with your car & more about you're personal life. I'm 35 so I know they won't be as high as someone much younger, but I didn't expect this. I was quoted £1,300 per year because I put I was separated, Had kids but not at home & my profession as a Hardware/Software Engineer. So, I edited the info a little. I stated I was single & re searched again. The price went up. I stated I was married & it went down. I stated I had no kids & it went down even more. I changed my profession & it went up & down depending on type of profession. This stating I use my car for leisure only! Here I am, thinking car insurance was about the type of car, what you use the car for & your age. Since when does having kids or not effect how I drive. Or my marital status? I got the quote down to £647 per year. But only stating I had kids, Married & Bank Manager. But clearly I'm separated & not a Bank Manager, my pay is much better!
  2. It's amusing how ministers that put these tests in place & say its a good thing so our children can be educated correctly can't even answer correctly some of the answers on them. I have spelling, grammar issue's. But I'm a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer. Semi qualified demi chef & self taught web & graphics design. Currently learning software engineering as we speak. So it just shows that you don't have to be good at everything to progress in life. You just have to be good at the right things for the things you want to do in live! Or, you can be an idiot & manage to become an MP. To succeed, all you need is to have support staff smarter than you!
  3. They have a legal responsibility to inform you of the reasons for the visit & what it will entail because some people have verbal or hearing problems & may need someone to be with them to help them understand. They can't just tell you that your getting a visit without explaining why. They tried this with my mom that has a spinal injury. Sent a letter saying they will be making a visit on such a such day & if this wasn't suitable she had to call to make arrange for another time. She was passed from pillar to post until she finally got told why, which was a random check as they say, to make sure they are providing the right benefits she is entitled to. Realistically, its them trying to catch you out. Any excuse for them to cast a doubt over your eligibility they will stop payments!
  4. Although its not in Sheffield, Its in Parkgate, Rotherham. I think Anglo Saxon is the best. proper lamb & not the mixed up rubbish. Nothing I have got from them has been a disappointment!
  5. Something happened near where I live. Was a little lad I see often making his way to & from school. On this occasion he was from what I could make out being hassled by a group of older lads into the spacing between buildings thats over grown & full of rubbish. Anyways, I stepped in & one little pleb tried it on with a stick & took a swipe at me. I honestly don't know how but I caught it in my hand & I just looked at the kid & said. I'll let go & you all better bugger off in more colourful words & if he tried it again, I'm perfectly entitled to defend myself & his face will bare the brunt of it! Apparently, the little lad told me that they are all from same school & they've been taking money & whatever else that from him every day for ages & the schools done nothing about it because it always happens outside of the school gates. I've a good mind to pay a visit & express my disgust in their attitude as to me, they have a duty of care to the children that go to that school both on the inside & outside of the gates!
  6. Pupil 92 to 95. Best school I ever went to & figured out why I was such a pain as a kid. Went passed it the other day & boy has it changed & looks amazing. Mr Hunter the sports teacher did a lot for me! Wonder what he's up to now days!
  7. There every month. But you sometimes have to buy a tickets a month or so in advance as it often sells out.

  10. Bah it's java based & it's seriously out of date. I wouldn't use it if I was you because doing so would put your system at risk.
