  1. I joined Highfield library at 4 years old, and have used the library ever since, its a service I use at least once a fortnight, for loaning books, dvds, and a whole host of other things, would be a travesty if even one was closed, !!!!!
  2. I joined the library at 4 years old at Highfield and would hate this or any other library to close, I use Hillsborough at least twice a month, for books and all manner of other things, keep em all open is what I say !!!!

  5. My Dad is Barry Collins, Graham and he used to decorate the stands I believe, can`t recall Graham`s surname, will ask my Dad, but he is no longer with us.
  6. My Dad and his friend Graham worked for Silver Knight after being made redundant from Neil`s ....that would be the 70s sometime !!!
  7. oohhh what memories, Crazy Daisy was our favourite haunt, walked home to Hillsborough, shoes in hand many a weekend !!

  10. Two new bars opened on west street in the last few weeks, not sure if these will be classed as night clubs though.....one was what was the Bedroom, and the other was Insomnia !! Have to check them out

  13. Hamster was called Hammy Roberts, after the bloke that kept escaping jail....I used to look after it at lunchtimes,
