  1. I am another one given up on Morrison's at Hillsborough. Lack of check-out staff was my complaint. Years ago they cut down on the number of tills from when it was first built, to make it look less unstaffed. I am sure it was better today and any queues were down to the time of year. It's other times when there were few staff that stopped me going. And yes - some staff attitude.
  2. (I've actually been advised by several taxi firms that it's generally better to ring just before you want the taxi, rather than the day before.) Saturday I pre-booked a taxi - arrived a bit late but nothing over the odds. My mate rang for a taxi - took ages. Hissing it down Saturday night, busy time - best to book. When I wanted to come home - 11.30 -m Saturday night, nothing available. Not a thing.
  3. Certain;y I remember seeing her last time we played Southend. She doesn't seem to be working much.
  4. I was a Morrison's shopper. I much prefer the Sainsbury's even though it is slightly more expensive. The staff are excellent and the shop itself is great with wide aisles and some excellent choices. But the most important thing I like about it - is that you aren't getting around the store only to find a long wait at the check-out. Much much better. To save money on things I do some shopping at Aldi/Lidl.
  5. Not as sure as you that Hammond and Basham will make a good partnership. I thought they got in each other's way a lot last night. Too similar.
  6. Currently (July 9th 11.00 pm ) circling over Bradfield. Loxley Valley, Stannington and Dungworth area. Been there ages - will run out of petrol soon i reckon!
  7. Some pubs do remarkably well considering. The Kelham Island Tavern does not major on food but is packed. Remarkably the Fat Cat across the road from there doesn't major on food and is often packed. Remarkably the Shakespeare across the road from there doesn't do any food and is often packed. I see a pattern of excellent pubs putting on decent beer. With occasional non- amplified music. (Amplified in the separate music room in the Shakespeare).
  8. That seems like a good plausible explanation and thanks for that!
  9. Both teams have had these "moving marquees" going over the grass as they build their new pitches. Not interested in getting into any argument - but they are clearly important. What happens under them and why does what they do, apparently have to be sheltered?
  10. Like newly promoted Watford who have had four this season? Or newly promoted Norwich who managed two?
