  1. Nice answer. I guess it also helps not confuse other drivers too.
  2. So you've seen a few students a bit drunk after what was presumably a student night? Seems reasonable. As for bringing the reputation down - I assure you the same is happening in other university towns - only on a larger scale. Remind us - how many of the recent stabbings, shootings and murders have students been responsible for in Sheffield?
  3. I agree that there are sometimes things you need to go to other shops for, just because Aldi don't stock them - but this is getting better gradually. I don't accept that it's not fair to compare them because they don't have customer toilets or a crap cafe or you have to queue a few minutes longer. If you think that makes it worth wasting 1/3rd more on your shopping go ahead, but it doesn't stop them being a 'real supermarket'. Tesco are now finding out that all those extras are not helping them.
  4. No difference. The only reason brand name food cost is more is because gullible idiots are willing to pay for the name.
  5. Well the evidence shows that most people massively under estimate the calories inmost things, and even more so in alcohol. Only a moron would object to being presented with the facts.
  6. Surely that's what gumtree is - everything is done by collection, cash in hand so no quibble after the fact, no fees. You could always advertise on here, so long as you are prepared to be contacted by morons offering you a tiny fraction of the asking price, or just not turning up. Of course you don't have as many buyers but that's why ebay costs more. I've never had a problem selling in ebay - you know the fees before you go on. Just make sure you take lots of photos of the item, be honest about condition, set it to UK buyers, PayPal only, no negative feedback bidders and always use a recorded postage service. Take pics of the item during and after packing - it takes 2 seconds extra.
  7. Even that confirms there was never any plan to ban anything. Anyway, he's withdrawn the song now - ha! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29722860
  8. It really is awful - even disregarding the stupid (and obviously) racist accent, it just shows how moronic UKIP are. It repeats such stupid Euro myths that even the Daily Express would think twice (like that silly old banana one). What's the bizarre line about 'We'll start telling the truth about you' supposed to mean anyway? The only possible way to read it is as an admission that they are lying at the moment?
  9. It's a shame it has something of a silly name. Calling Jeremy Clarkson a numpty is not the same as the harassment the people you listed had to endure. Those people were sent direct death threats, threats to their families, personal details posted online. What is even more sinister are the troll apologists who say it's a matter of freedom of speech. Freedom of speech gives you the right to express and opinion - not to threaten to kill or rape someone.
  10. Not only that, it was based on a lie about a 'minimum number of bus lanes' imposed by 'Europe'.
  11. No, that's MPs pay which is is set by Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority. Ministers pay, who form the government, is set by PM and cabinet. ---------- Post added 14-10-2014 at 06:40 ---------- Well it's certainly looking good for a Labour majority with a decent lead and 35% in the polls.
  12. Primes are used in encryption technology, Nothing at all to do with memorising them to be your PIN number.
  13. Just bought a motor with E80BLA - no one will get in it! Might have to get back in my old one IS15 FKU
  14. Straw man nonsense. How about - they saw the car for sale with that number plate THEN decided to take their cretin roadshow to Argentina.
