A huge thanks to Sam for coming out at short notice to sort a leak at a rental property. I called him in a panic & he was able to come & sort the issue & supply new taps. Sam has also previously done work at my mother's house, so he comes highly recommended by both of us. Excellent workmanship, extremely fair price, & a thoroughly nice chap! I just wanted to add a massive thanks to Mick at Fixed 'n Fitted who has completely transformed a rental property of mine just outside Sheffield, at very short notice. I was in full on panic mode a couple of weeks ago when I found him, he was able to go round & give me a very good quote for everything that needed doing, carpets, new kitchen, endless repair jobs...basically a full overhaul, & deep clean from top to bottom once the work was complete. My parents had a leak coming from the roof area, they called a company who had put a leaflet through the door, the guy came round & quoted £350.00 to sort it out. I called Dan who came straight round & saw that there was some sort of blockage, removed the blockage & saved them a lot of money. My parents are elderly & they would have paid the £350.00 without question, so a massive thankyou to Dan for coming out so quickly, sorting out the problem, & saving their money!

I've just watched 'The Mountain Between Us', with the fabulous Idris Elba & Kate Winslett. It's about a random couple who are thrown together as a result of a plane crash. I wouldn't have necessarily put the two of them together but it's superbly acted by both of the above, (there's only about 4 characters & a dog in the plot), but I was crying buckets at the end. I'd have to give it a 10/10. It's filmed in beautiful British Columbia too, which is one of my favourite parts of the world.

I was looking for a new door for a rental property of mine to be supplied & fitted, & was looking for someone local to the Dinnington area. I found a company called Truestyle Windows based in Dinnington (01909517129), who came out immediately to measure up, gave me a very reasonable quote, & even put a seal under the door until they could fit the new one. All work was carried out to an extremely high standard, everyone I've spoken to has been extremely helpful & I would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

I just wanted to add a recommendation & pass on a huge thank-you to the guys at County Glazing in Hillsborough (0114325325). They fitted an upstairs window for me a while ago...all work done to an extremely high standard & very reasonably priced. I'd just taken delivery of some furniture on a particularly rainy day earlier this week, having not given much thought to whether it would actually fit through the doors when I ordered it. Unfortunately it didn't. I called County Glazing in a bit of a panic, they were extremely reassuring & turned up within 20 minutes, they managed to take the front window off...post the furniture into the living room & replace the window in about 10 minutes! Panic over. I am extremely grateful for their fantastic efforts & would not hesitate to recommend these thoroughly wonderful group of chaps at County Glazing. Many thanks.
