  1. The Forum's new extension area had a capacity of 50 people and is £50. Also if you were interested in a pool party maybe the Common Room. Ring 0114 272 0569!
  2. Forum - chilled out atmosphere, not some generic chain coffee shop and good coffee. Its on Devonshire Street
  3. Don't forget to check out Less of That! (more of this) new to the Forum every Saturday. Unique heavy electro beats from Your Mum/My Mum and co, plus its free! Also along some similar electro lines Kicking Against the Pricks every last Thursday of the month at the Halcyon which is also free! Good call on original thread.....
  4. Hi, I work at the Common Room in Sheffield. We have an area that can be hired out for up to 200 guests that could fit the bill? The only problem is we already have a provisional booking on this date. Is there any flexibility with when you host the event? Or if you are interested I could give the person who made the provisional booking a ring to check if they definitely want to go ahead with the booking, because as I said it currently is only provisional. You can contact me on 0114 2808 221 or info@common-room.co.uk.
  5. Try the Forum Cafe Bar on the end of Devonshire Street, really good lunch menu, daily specials and homemade cakes. check out http://www.forumsheffield.co.uk
  6. You could hire the dancefloor area in the Common Room or even have exclusive hire of the Halcyon Bar - really sophistcated bar in the centre of town and available FREE!
  7. Yes, big blue place on the end of Devonshire Street overlooking the green - great range of coffees, speciality teas and home-made cakes. Upstairs is the Common Room (also owned by Forum Cafe Bars Ltd) it has 12 american sized pool tables and also a great range of food. Great daytime deals/discounts on pool too!
  8. I went to Wokmania and found a curly black hair in my 'OK Chicken' - it really wasn't ok at all..........
  9. Try Forum Cafe Bar on Devonshire Street.
  10. Try the Forum - Rococo every Saturday - Funky House and deep house - free entry all night OR Halcyon - House grooves - also free entry, both are always packed so you will have a good night and because they are both free and in the centre of town, you don't have to stay all night!

  12. I really like this restaurant - have been there many times and have always had good food and good service - the desserts are particulary yummy!
  13. Been quite a few times, it's fairly cheap, but you get what you pay for - food is average, if you are really into tapas you may be disappointed:(
  14. The Halcyon Bar, the Forum Cafe Bar and the Common Room are all taking Christmas bookings.
  15. Halcyon Bar - 2 cocktails for £6 - good ones, not cheap-o, dirty cocktails made with paint-stripper!
