  1. Any update on this. There has been a lot of activity and traffic going into the site recently. Are plans afoot?
  2. Hi, I'm looking for someone to fit a couple of run flats I've purchased of ebay to my Focus ST. I need someone to fit and dispose of old tyres. Ideally the closer to Crookes the better. Any recommendations?
  3. Did you get this sorted. I need someone to fit a couple of tyres to my Focus ASAP in Sheffield. The closer to Crookes the better.
  4. Had a bump in my Focus ST in the ice and now need new front bumper. Don't want to pay insurance XS so need someone in Sheffield that can fit and spray one to very good standard ASAP. Any suggestion?
  5. Had a bump in the crazy ice on Friday and have cracked my Focus ST bumper, Bumper looks like it will need replacing. Insurance xs is £550 so do not want to pay that. I'm after someone who can fix it ASAP, ideally in time for Xmas. Anyone find anyone good from this earlier post?
  6. Hi, Did you get a good tradesperson for this job. I need my entire gorund floor laminate sorting and am looking for a reliable and competitve tradesman. Cheers.
  7. I know people who work there and really enjoy their jobs. They now have a solid career structure in place and they have offered some of my friend’s permanent contracts. Their salary and bonus means that they do reward the best performers. Like any customer service job they have their good and bad days but I know that overall they are more than happy and enjoy what Knowhow has to offer. I would recommend you go for it. They recruited a lot of people last year and only a very small majority have something bad to say. All the others that are still there and enjoying it tend not to post that info on Forums.
  8. Considering it's such a bad place to work your brother has done exceptionally well to last 3 years. What's his secret?
  9. Hope Council meeting went well. The fire engines demostrates the point about restricted access. I' sure if the work goes ahead they can park their vehicles at the bottom and manually carry their equipment up. Could be a very long build process.
  10. To claim there is a housing shortage may be true but Sheffield Councils own stats don't back that up. Unoccupied Commercial (Business Rates/NNDR) properties: + March 2011 = 3,038 Unoccupied Non-Commercial (Council Tax): * March 2011 3,703 Over 900,000 thousand unoccupied homes in the UK. It's local and national government that need to sort out the housing problem. An extra 20 isn't going to have a huge impact on those figures. The main people who will benefit if this goes through are the developers and the Council big wigs creaming of what cash they can.
  11. Totally against this planned development. The attraction of this location is the quiet cul de sac. A developmemt of this size would have a massive impact. The increased traffic would turn a quiet street into a main road. The impaact on the local environment and the property market would also be horrendous. is need to look elsewhere in Sheffield for land. There are a number of sites locally, Bole hill has only recently has some new builds and would be a much more suitable location.
  12. If for any reason you are unsuccessful with sky, the fact that you got as far as an assessment shows you have real potential. As other posts have stated there are similar jobs with better hours and pay. If you want to know what other call centres are currently recruiting then email matt.jones@bluearrow.co.uk Good luck.
  13. If anyone fancies an Outbound Sales role that pays a good basic £7.25ph, is based in a state of the art building in Sheffield City Centre, has realistic targets and proper bonus potential, offers long term positions working for a company and a brand that make you feel part of the team and offer all the support and coaching you may need. You would need to have at least 6 months outbound sales experience and could work 8 hour shifts between 10am and 9pm. You would be promoting a major mobile phone companies broadband service to the mobile phone companies exisiting customers. This company pays the best basic, offers the best bonus but wants the best people. email CV's to matt.jones@bluearrow.co.uk for more information.
  14. Think there is a new law called the Eating at Work Act 2010, ammended by Yuet Pyalot in 2011. Look it up.
  15. Varying pay rates. Unconfirmed Shifts. Suspect recruitment process. Keeping candidates in the dark. Unclear policies. Is this how Sky recruited for their Leeds contact centre? Give Sheffeild candidates some respect Sky... Beware anyone that's applied. If it's run by Murdoch they may be tapping your phone... or even your ema ............................................
