  1. Hi has anybody been to a wedding reception at the Embassy on Mansfield road. we are on a budget with large numbers. I have a pocket of money to decorate the room. thanks
  2. The houses at the bottom of the road are not council, they were built by housing association for people to buy on a full or part rent part buy scheme. my mum and dad lived on there for many years never had any problems its quit a student populated area.
  3. Hi i went for a meal last saturday evening as local businesses were invited for a free three corse meal. The meal was fantastic cooked to perfection the steak. Booked our works christmas meal and also taking my family on monday as kids eat for a £1 on monday and tuesday. Theres a great indoor and outdoor play area.
  4. Hi i live in the S14 area of the city i am looking for a local ish smart pub, sports club, (ideas welcome) but the venue must have outside space for kids to play and errect a bouncy castle, bucking bronco, maybe a bbq for reception food, prefer to provide my own food. if any one has any ideas it would be much appreciated i no its not everyones idea of a perfect wedding but we are very laid back and dont wish to have the formalities of sit down meal and regimented schedule.
  5. New york brides was a wounderfull experience im so glad that it was the first place that i went to as none of the others shops that i visited came to within a scratch of them. The lady who owns the shop is lovely and so helpfull. Well worth a look some fantastic dresses at very discounted prices and low deposit.
  6. I had a appointment with la bella brides on friday i found them to be none of the above. The lady who fitted me in the dresse was rude and judgemental. I gave them the details of what i didnt want i wanted them to dress me i was a guinipig in there hands not one of the dresses that they chose remotley suited me in the slightest. I was asked if she was to fetch the most expensive dress out that they stocked would i be interested to which i replied i dont know what it looks like, but if its the one i would do my up most to pay for it, This dress was not produced. and when i had narrowed it down to two that i liked she said ill give you 1 hour to decide if you give me a answer today ill give you 20% discount, tomorrow it goes back up to full price. Very dissapointed in there service one comment that was made people come in to play dress up:rant:
