Was receiving texts from seller on the fri to confirm the exchange, received a reply when said it wasn't working pretty much saying well it worked for me, sorry....but not answering phone or responding to text asking for warranty.....as it was sold claiming to be approx 6 months old, but by the looks of it that is not the case! Used a delivery man found on the forum, who by the way was reliable and cheap! I will PM with username if anyone wants it as I don't know if the user wants advertising without asking him first! I'm not on a witchhunt here....I just started this thread wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar. Share your tales of woe!

If only I had won the triple rollover tonight I would have bought a gold plated washing machine encrusted with diamonds. Not having much luck with washers - was after a new one in the first place as landlord (I live in student digs) said the washing machine in the house was brand new and installed few months ago, but oddly enough was not part of the contract. Turns out it was REPAIRED a few months ago not new. And last week it ground to a halt. So, now I am left with two broken washers sitting in the kitchen!!

Yep....fuse changed. Then entire plug changed. And Alternative socket checked. And that is as far as my ideas go apart from kicking the thing!

I'm not mentioning user name incase it all is a really unlucky coincidence. In which case I would be most apologetic. Thinking about it, maybe it was just bad luck - it did afterall happen on friday 13th....

It has no power at all....nothing happening. See my post in the wanted section asking for help with a dodgy washer!!

Note.....I do still love the forum though!!

SHsheff:Very true.....it might well have been sold in good faith, which was certainly my first thought, however it's a bit annoying that the person isn't responding to my texts or offering any kind of apology....:-( And yes, Pattricia, - the silly thing is I do have the address however as yet I'm unsure what to do! As SHsheff mentioned, I would really hate to find out that it was just a coincidental breakdown and unlucky on my part...

Has anyone else found that there may be dishonest forum members? I have just shelled out cash for a washing machine from a forum user, however it turns out that the washing machine does not work and that the forum member in particular is not responding to texts....however was pretty text happy in helping organise the sale. I am angry not only at this particular person but also my own stupidity in not thorougly checking the machine before paying and in trusting an unknown individual. Why is it that some people don't give two hoots about others??? It has made me very angry!!

The photos make take a little time to appear, they will send you a mini copy of any photos with you on in the post in due course, then you can go to the action photos site and find yourself with ease! Was a fantastic day yesterday - so glad it wan't as hot as it had been earlier on during the week!
