  1. What have you eaten that you didn't like?
  2. “Simon Mason was the rock ‘n’ roll doctor” Alan McGee “Nothing’s more boring than a drugs memoir. Not this one though, buy it” Irvine Welsh In Too High, Too Far, Too Soon Simon Mason graphically details his experience of teenage angst in a tatty seaside town before he ran away to London and then onwards to the crack-infested streets of LA. He recounts his numerous decadent adventures at Glastonbury festival and the notoriety that came during his stint as personal chemist to the biggest bands of the ‘90s before he descended into a helpless period of heroin addiction. Join Simon for an unforgettable evening as he recounts personal misadventures from the heady days of Britpop and he might even be persuaded to play the odd acoustic number. Additional tunes and all round good vibes supplied by resident Mod For It DJ, Darren Gray. Tel: 0790 444 36 77 with any enquiries. Thursday 16th October, Green Room, 8pm. Tickets are £5 on the door or £4 in advance: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/too-high-too-far-too-soon-a-mod-for-it-evening-with-simon-mason-tickets-12149135391 ---------- Post added 14-10-2014 at 19:06 ---------- Tickets are going well for this. 3. Has anybody been to see it this week? It finishes tomorrow.
  4. Definitely give Charles Clifford a go.
  5. We hired it for our enagement party a couple of years ago. It was absolutely fine. Good to get an interesting space in the middle of town but just off the beaten track.
  6. Jim is good and reliable: http://www.discosyorkshire.com/.

  8. I've enjoyed listening to Toby. But he's not irreplaceable. Let's just hope that we get some new talent in. I can't imagine that any of the existing presenters are up to the mark.
  9. Yet another thumbs up for La Vaca. Went on New Year's Eve and again this week. Had a Sirloin that was cooked exactly as I asked - very juicy and tasty along with their brilliant chips. Also - the service is fantastic.

  11. Good shop but I'm not so sure about the fishy smell that now wafts along Division Street.
