Eggs benedict in Sheffield - absolutely unbelievable!
OrganiseChaos replied to ohmyword's topic in Going out in Sheffield
How about Jameson's Café and Tea Rooms on Abbeydale Road - lovely food in there: http://www.jamesonstearooms.co.uk/ But don't dare the cake tapas unless you've had no breakfast - it's a challenge but you can't stop eating it as it's so delicious and then you need to snooze it off for the afternoon! -
Business networking events?
OrganiseChaos replied to Waldo's topic in Sheffield Business & Employment
Crafty Business is a networking meeting with a difference. Networking to grow your business, collaborate, support and learn from each other. You don't need to be an experienced crafter or work in a craft related business. All you need is an interest in seeing what other people are doing, plenty of business cards and the willingness to give some of the crafts a try. Friendly people and it's not expensive - usually under £6 for the meetings. http://crafty-business.weebly.com Facebook Group: CraftyBusinessSheffield Twitter: @CraftyBizSheffield -
Programmes to become more employable?

Hi Manzanita, I would say networking both generally and in your chosen profession would be helpful too. Good luck. -
Tour De France campsites
OrganiseChaos replied to cuttsie's topic in Sheffield Camping & Caravanning
Many of these sites are putting on festival style entertainment - bands and so on which of course will cost them extra to put on to make an event of it so they are more festival prices but it should be a great atmosphere. How many times in our lifetime will the Tour de France come through Yorkshire! Here is another site to consider - Cowell Cycle Camp http://cyclecamp.weebly.com/ -

Also helps if you follow up on posts you've made so people feel more inclined to help you out. -
I'm looking to hire a data projector for Thursday afternoon - can anyone give me a referral to somewhere that hires them? I've always used the venue provided ones before but I can't get one for this Thursday so need to take one with me. Many thanks.

Place to work in Nether Edge?
OrganiseChaos replied to OrganiseChaos's topic in Sheffield Business & Employment
thanks for the suggestions - I believe the nearest library is Highfields so will have to check that out. I do occasionally use SHU (currently studying part time) or central library but I there is time lost travelling in. Teeny - where is thelmas? -
Does anyone know of a good place to sit and work for a couple of hours in the Nether Edge or Abbeydale Road area? Most of the week I work on client premises or am travelling but sometimes I just need to take myself and the laptop off to work on a report or something and find a change of scenery useful. Any ideas?
