I just hope they extend the carriages on the stopping service between Leeds/ Huddersfield to Sheffield! If the ezpress is delayed you cant get on the stopping service as its overcrowded. -
Clothes and stuff needed. Where to go for help?
Bambeano replied to Stoned's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Speak to citizens advice and have a look at some charities websites, such as turn2us.org.UK. She might be eligible for some grants / bursaries to help -
You only need to carry the plastic photocard with you day to day. The paper part can be kept somewhere safe at home. Generally speaking, the only time I've needed the paper part is when hiring a car to show that I have no endorsement.

Alfas are so unreliable.......*rolls eye* Can only be said by someone who hasnt owned a modern Alfa. Autoexpress drive power 2013 awards the Guiletta in the top 10 best cars. Our Alfa is now approaching 6 years old and the only parts that have failed are the General Motors parts.....e.g. the EGR valve. some people need to leave the 80's and early 90's illusions in the past! My 2001 punto also has given me no problems in the past 2 years. only routine maintenance required.....e.g. servicing and Cambelt! My brother Audi And his corsa before that on the other hand....

Fiat punto - ECU read and key programed.
Bambeano replied to darnall-PCs's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
you can get the code key from fiat its about £30 ish. If u cant get hold of it Gareth is happy to get it on your behalf the dealers usually need to see the v5 and some proof of id if you get it yourself. -

Independant Fiat specialist wanted
Bambeano replied to DumDom's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
As above, I highly recommend Garath, he has a passion for alfa and fiat, and as stated above he does rebuild and races his alfas. Garath does have a very good knowledge, especially as we dont own the most common of cars. Try dropping him an email or giving him a call to discuss the problems first. He is by far the best mechanic we have used. He is also highly recommended on other forums. Tbh, most specalists are better than most dealers in one way or another!! -

I highly recommend Gareth at Northern Alfa also. We now travel to him from Wakefield (now moved from Sheffield) and will be taking our cars there again after christmas. A bit out of the way, but he knows his stuff, reasonably priced and goes the extra mile!! -
The newsagents in the market has a superb selection of penny sweets!
