nope it was not the traffic lights. between the turn for holmfirth b6105 and windle edge there was an accident. dont know any details but everyone was turing back and going down to holmfirth and over the b6105 back onto the A628. this was around 2:30ish as it happen. by the time we got down to mottram the police were stopping traffic and then doing the same at the flouch end. it was cleared by 9ish that evening.

comes in phases, when I lived at Leadmill flats people parked there, the numbers grew and grew so no frills put their foots down and tickets and clamps appeared. it quietened down and so you just have to hope you get lucky. or stop if you notice more and more people parking there too.
