  2. Hi there, The Blend cook alongs run on the last Thursday of each month from 6 till 8 at the Shipshape health and wellbeing centre on Sharrow Lane, just off London Road. Not sure why the post code gave you a location in Chesterfield. Hope to see you next month for our Greek night.
  3. Hi Blue girl, stables is on the mount pleasant site on Sharrow Lane which is next to Rossi's Italian restaurant. Recipes for the last cook along are now up on my blog, have a look and give them a go. Next cook alongs 24th and 25th October when we'll be celebrating Eid. Also, our website has been updated, apologies for the lack of promotion for the past couple of months, this has been due to us moving premises. Chris
  4. Hi web 1 and annie. Pleased to announce that we've got 2 cook alongs running this month at the brand new Shipshape health and wellbeing centre on Sharrow Lane. The first one is on wednesday 27th between 2pm and 4pm and is going to be a pie and pea tea! Places need to be booked for this session by calling 2500222 The second one is thursday 28th between 6 and 8 and is going to be a french themed night with ratatoiulle, french onion soup, crepe souzette and much more. This will be at the new Shipshape health and wellbeing centre, booking isn't essential. We've also got a healthy asian cooking course starting in November, The Big Tea event, children's cooking club (october half term) and a supper club on Oct 12 in the next couple of months.   7. September 2nd 2012 between 11 and 3 see’s the first Community health football festival taking place at the Goodwin sports centre in Sheffield. The festival is being run by Shipshape health and wellbeing project and being supported by Sheffield Alcohol Support Service (SASS), Phoenix futures and Sharrow Sure Start. The aim of the festival is to get people healthier and more active and to find out about the broad range of health charities and services available in Sheffield. The festival is going to include a range of activities on the day including craft and food stalls, children’s games and the football tournament. The festival is open to everyone and for more information or to book a free stall please contact Chris Hanson at Shipshape on 2500222 or email chris.hanson@shipshape.org.uk.

  9. Saturday baking club is a laidback event to bring people together to bake bread, drink coffee, read the papers and enjoy the start of the weekend. Saturday 28th July, 9.30am - 12.30pm Highfield Trinity Church, London Road, Sheffield, S2 4UR Open to experienced bakers, beginners and everyone in between we'll be sharing recipes and tips for mouth-watering home-baked basics and treats. We'll enjoy some of our freshly baked goodies and everyone will take a treats home with them. Costing £2.50 per adult, kids free and families very welcome. Blend is a not for profit organisation and is a Shipshape project, supported by Sharrow Community Forum and Creative Action Network.

Join us for the next Healthy Cook Along, suitable for everyone; from beginners to experienced cooks and including participation from all ages, you will be given the opportunity to learn to cook new dishes from around the world. This month takes on an American theme with a range of tasty dishes on the menu. Thursday 26th July, 6pm -8om Highfield Trinity Church, London Road, Sheffield, S2 4UR The evening costs just £2 per adult or £1 per child, including equipment, ingredients, a hearty meal and recipes to take away. There is no need to book just turn up on the night. Blend is a not for profit organisation and is a Shipshape project, supported by Sharrow Community Forum and Creative Action Network.
