  1. The 120 is often busy. I get on it as I work at the Hallamshire hospital. I do hope they don't reduce this route by much as it just makes things even riskier.
  2. The level of stress on the wards is horrendous. Can't see why anyone would want to be a nurse, it's all stress, paperwork and covering your back against potential complaints.
  3. They sell these in packs of 6 in the pound shop.
  4. It was very poor compared to previous years. Lots of stalls that are usually there weren't there this year. It's a shame, people just won't bother going in future. Also £2.50 for a tiny tray of chips was a bit beyond the pale...
  5. Has anyone lost a grey/blue staffie around the Ridgehill Avenue area? There's one running around outside our house on Hollinsend Road. Can't take him in as we've two cats. Tried to hold onto him but he ran off, still outside our house running up and down. Council rung, not open. Police called, not interested. Dog has been running in and out of busy Hollinsend Road. Dog is VERY manic but doesn't appear vicious but the more I held onto his collar the more he chewed at my arm.
  6. Sooooooo tired of those who voted to remain in the EU thinking they know, for certain, why all those who voted to leave the EU voted the way they did. The only narrow minded aggression I've come across is from those cross that the vote didn't go their way. ---------- Post added 23-07-2016 at 16:49 ---------- I know a lot of people who voted to leave the EU. And guess what? NONE of them are afraid of 'Johnny Foreigner' either!! :o:o In fact anyone who wants to come and work in the UK is more than welcome.
  7. People can't just accept free food from food banks, they have to meet a specific criteria and be referred by agencies such as social services and GPs. People who find themselves short of bread at the end of the week can't just go and get free food, you have to be poverty stricken with your back against the wall to qualify.
  8. Like Samantha Cameron's article in the Daily Mail a few weeks ago where she tells us she's voting Remain to protect her children's future. If there were any kids in Britain with a protected future it's her two, no matter what happens her children's future is secure. Stupid woman.
  9. Sadly there's no good looking men there either. What ARE we to do?
  10. The number 8/8a that I use is never on time. In fact it's often a full five minutes or more early and then spends that five minutes at manor top waiting. But invariably it's late or missing but then a bus travelling from Crystal Peaks to Ecclesfield and back is going to be pretty hard pushed to keep to a timetable.
  11. I presume once the doctors no longer get unsocial hours rate for Saturdays then it will soon follow that nurses and healthcare assistants will lose their unsocial hours for weekends?
