  1. This thread is very, very old. However, Nathan Lapatnick is my great, great, great grandfather. Incidentally, my surname is Lapp. Although the 'La' was dropped and Patnick was adopted as a means of sounding more English, my Grandma who was a Patnick married into the Lapp family. Myself and my nephew are very interested to learn more surrounding our extended family. I shall read the links provided on this thread!
  2. Having worked in property for a couple of years, and knowing that the market is very stagnant right now, particularly in certain areas, it would depend on a lot of factors. However, generally, estate agents tie you in with them for a period of weeks and then you are free to move to another agent if they have not sold the property. I'd say it would depend on the location, condition and type of property that you have though as to why it maybe isn't selling. Plus, Christmas is a bad time of year to sell in any case.
  3. Is anyone still on this forum from this post??? Lennylap is that you Gary?? I am interested in this topic. I am a relation of the family and my surname is Lapp.
  4. Yesss!! I have been waiting for Pret a Manger for YEARS!!! I didn't know there is also one in Meadowhall now too!!
  5. Hi Golden Oldie, I work for a major high street estate agent and we have lots of fantastic stock available with a focus on Sheffield City Centre and surrounding areas. Please send me a message and I'd be glad to help!
  6. Yes, I can pm you his number....he's a fab instructor, I passed with him in August. My sister currently is learning with him. I'm just at work but on my lunch will inbox you Martin's number.
  7. It was just the first thing that came into my head, I don't know why really. I didn't say it WAS a bomb, I was asking, hence the question marks.
  8. Well as I got to the top of the escalator to walk over the bridge to the trams the alarms started going off and there was a flashing sign overhead saying not to enter and a voice saying the same so unless it was activated by mistake in 1 section of meadowhall and quickly shut off I don't know
  9. I don't really see how I'm a silly person. That's why I put ?? I was asking if it was a bomb scare and if anyone knows any information
  10. What's happened in meadowhall? As I was just walking out about an hour ago lots of alarms started going off with red flashing lights and a voice was saying "This is an emergency, do not enter meadowhall". Anyone know what's going on?
  11. Well I don't actually live on glossop road its my sisters house where we found him, I live on psalter lane which is no better as that's where I lost my cats but I won't be letting him out and I am moving shortly hopefully somewhere much quieter
  12. Yes I know I'm going to put a notice in the local shop and that's why I asked on here in the first place and took him to be scanned for a microchip. I wouldn't just steal someones cat, I've had 2 cats myself that sadly got knocked down. I have also been checking to see online if anyone has posted an ad for a lost cat matching his description and have seen nothing so far. ---------- Post added 15-05-2013 at 20:27 ---------- I've just filled out the form you posted a link to also
  13. This little boy isn't chipped so I have decided to keep him myself x
  14. Found a chocolate brown/black male kitten approximately 4/5months old without a collar in the S10 area in my garden tonight. Its very friendly and very vocal! I'm taking it to be scanned for a microchip in the morning but wondered if anyone on here was missing him. Thanks!
