  1. Hey sounds great. Don't know route at all, can you give directions? Thanks.
  2. Hello. I’m just taken cycling up this year. Starting when the sun appears? Point of thread, I know Dam Flask and I know Grenoside Woods so far in, about 4 miles in as used to run in them. But now on cycle can go much further. So anyone knows any good places that lead off from Grenodside. Also anyone know any other good cycle routes I could go on? I live on Parson Cross, so setting off from there, will be covering some miles, so suggestions please. Thanks.

  4. From the few replies I’ve had regarding this, I can see that it is the amount of food and types of foods chosen that is the most likely cause of blood sugar readings fluctuating. I have pointed this out a few days ago. Will now have to look into diets, but it’s for him to stick to these! That’s another issue in itself. Thanks
  5. Sorry to hear this and thank you for sharing your experience. My sympathy goes out to you.
  6. Hello, I have a family member that has diabetes. He is currently very worried and under hospital regarding his diabetes. I just need to ask a question, do diabetic blood sugar counts fluctuate throughout the day? He is getting reading of say 9 in the morning and then as high as 21 throughout the day. He knows this is high and hospital looking into reason why. But question is do blood sugars fluctuate throughout the day? I think he may be eating too much food, as in quantity of meal, (plate size) could this be a factor? Don’t worry not going to take in stone what you tell, just trying to gain general knowledge. Thank you.
  7. Thanks, found it on the net. What i'm after is called Window Film.
  8. Don't know how to fit windows though. Its only a small side pane about 3ft length and 2ft width and not even a front window. Thats why is could just re-enforce with a clear sticky plastic coating. Just don't know if anything of that nature is avaliable?
  9. Hello, I’ve got a double glazed window and the outer pane is cracked. Obviously really expensive to replace pane, I just wondering if there’s anything else I can do? Is there a clear plastic film, a little like Clingfilm, but obviously much thicker and stronger that I could stick over the entire pane to re-enforce the pane and hold it together as one unit? Advice, please. Thanks
  10. Hey, hate to be defeatist, but do we really have a choice, the management know they have us by the ********. We can’t afford to fight and the management know this. Look at Leeds in my limited knowledge of politics and Union’s V ’s Management I think the message is clear, (it’ll be costly and messy for the ordinary worker) Also in many council departments, Agencies are fully setup and running just itching for us to strike, so as to step in and prolong any strike action with the view to gaining further contracts. Sorry to pass my limited knowledge / negative point of view across, but in my opinion this is a battle the ordinary worker cannot afford to fight, and the people in the know are fully aware of this. No I haven’t signed yet, fuming at letter and the way employees are being treated not just in our jobs, but all throughout Britain. It won’t be long before we’re queuing at the gates each morning so they can pick whom they want for the day in Britain at this rate. Arrh, well moan over, but I did manage to keep it clean. (Typed with Gritted Teeth)
  11. Well done Mr Izzard. I take my hat off to you. I myself do alot of running, but the distances your covering daily, wow my legs turn to jelly just at the thought. I sometimes run for many miles and know how legs are the next day, someone must be carrying him to bed at night. Hecklers at his live shows from now on beware, this man as the ability to catch you. All the best, what a feat
  12. I recently had my car’s fuel stolen. The method they used to steal my fuel was by cutting my fuel pipes. As you can imagine, this absolutely sickened me. The reason for starting this thread is due to me reading on the net just how big a problem fuel theft as become. One newspaper article I read even went as far as to call fuel, ‘Liquid Gold’. I also read that theft of fuel from motor vehicles is also a major problem in America as well. Is Sheffield also experiencing a crime-wave regarding theft of fuel?????
  13. Some [blank] has just cut my car's fuel pipes. They haven't even got any of my petrol, its just been left to run out. Fox Hill area, anyone else had this problem?
  14. Wow, I posted this over a year ago. Just seven replys in over a year, i sort of get the feeling that Turn-UPs wasn't as popular has I thought it was. Arr well I had some great times in there, and it did seem packed every weekend. Such good blurry happy memories.
