Just out of interest, i've just removed battery from my mobile. There was a visible unlit display for approx 1 minute. I suspect if water was present the display would have gone 'dead' straight away, due to tracking across capacitors. This may be a pointer to the amount of potential damage, i.e , if display stays on ,there may be less cause for concern. *You could always buy a £10 phone for when you go on a bender, and keep your good phone for non party times.*

Just a question: If battery is removed in step 2. Why is there a panic in step 3 about turning it on. It won't turn on, the battery is removed?

...Got the letter, no email yet. All comes down to whether the exchange will handle the volume of connections, as to what speed you get. They can quote what they like, it'll still run slow at peak demand times. .....

What you actually do is encourage peope to pass you on the inside. Which is more dangerous than you simply observing the speed limit in the correct lane. Whatever your opinion is, the fact is that you will cause frustration. That unfortunately is human nature and your'e not going to change that. You appear to be in the misguded opinion that you are somehow aiding road safety, when in reality you are in fact a danger to other users. I bet you'd pull over into the empty lane if you observed a Police vehicle in your mirror ( and I don't mean with blue lights flashing). You'd pull over because you know deep down you're being stupid. You would be rightly offended if I called you an a**e, so stop acting like one. Find a better more worthy challenge for your energies. ..........

Hi all I'm wanting to store an on line file, approx 50mb. I would then want to password protect and share the link. I've a couple of places I do this for small files, but can't find anywhere which will allow the transfer of a single file of 50 meg. Any ideas.? .........
