When I moved to Sheff, I used to frequent the Millhouses pub, where there was a pianist who used to walk around the pub offering everybody a pinch, including all the ladies. Norman the pianist......who has permanent snuff on his lapel s!!

They could be doing occasional checks on their co-workers....not just the customers. I always use a proper check-out at supermarkets, the last time ...and only time...I checked myself out there was an error, and was grateful that my bag was searched, they found the 'missing' item, I paid, but did not feel any guilt, as I blamed the supermarket for not providing enough checkout staff

I often walk on the old Unstone Line, was used when the coal mines were working...and I often hear the sound of trains...but the scary thing is that the ghostly sounds are of diesel trains, and the Unstone Line was all steam locos. So scary.

wandered around yesterday, Fargate is awful, poor folk in wheelchairs or tots in prams....The Moor however seems good, lots of decent shops, good paving.... Lots of roads now closed to traffic, so no chance of holding a Lord Mayor's Parade!!!
-
I will be there....it is always a good show...

How about a nice smooth surface.?...I feel so sorry for those who are shaken to pieces by the cobbles -
I am more aware of the ladies who put far too much 'fragrance' on, they must use half a bottle at a time, overpowering pongs...cannot stand it. A dab behind the ears should be enough.
