  1. Again if the prices fell lots I really wouldn't be that concerned as I bought my house when I did, I didnt over stretch with my mortgage(£620 p/m ish), and at the end of the day its a long term investment, and a roof over my head its not a money making project. I'd just prefer to be paying what I would be in rent on something that I will own. Just makes sense to me.
  2. To be honest in my area I have noticed house prices have all gone up in the last 6 months, quite alot, meaning if house do crash I wont go into negative equity.. We have been living in our property almost 1 yr and it has risen by around 25%. Thats going on the house prices of neighebours houses for sale, and sold in the last 6 months. Each time a new one comes up for sale the price keeps rising and there still selling.
  3. I have to say I have noticed a massive increase in the really big bees in our garden, always loads of them in the strawberry plants..
  4. Nope, because the nice people at Asda, Morrisons, Tesco etc ask me 1 question 'would you like help with your packing??' now they are not going to ask me this question unless they have some way for me to get my shopping home i.e bags therefore I dont need to think ahead. But as a side note usually when we do go shopping the OH is with me and she carrys the re-usable bags so we use them.
  5. Because we dont have handbags to carry them around in, plus they do feel a bit girly!!
  6. Its a joke for people living where the diversion is too, we have high congestion on Foxhill road(even though the diversion is meant to take people onto Halifax road) just about everyone seems to think its a national speed limit road. And it adds so much extra time in a morning. Now if people stuck to the actually wider diverted route of halifax road things would go alot smoother!!!
  7. Go for a Nokia N95, fast full internet, good email client etc etc.
  8. Anyone have any ideas why one of the two wind turbines near Morrisons at Catcliffe is missing a blade?? I'm guessing its to do with the wind, did it just fall off??
  9. I doubt its mcuh of a deal as the people trying to sell you it will be on commission, if you do switch check it out on uswitch or similar and switch using a cashback site like quidco.
  10. Its not cyclists god given right to always get to the front of the que of traffic, so what if you couldn't get past him it probably only ticked you off because it stopped you from being able to hold the que of traffic up when you got to the front. Plus if he had of passed you 30 seconds previousley it would mean you was undertaking at your own risk?? I dunno why you just didnt do what majority of cyclists do and use the pavement to get round the traffic/red light???
  11. # No I shall correct you, we(the working class, the people who pay money into the system) pay for all this, nice to know yet more of our money will be wasted on a pointless investigation because someone was inconvenienced out of their(i'm sure very busy day watching morning and TV etc.) day. If you put this much effort into finding a job maybe you wouldn't have had to go see this Nazi??
  12. Nice according to that site my house has risen £20000 since buying it not even a year ago...
  13. This is crap why remove my other posts??? This forum is far too over moderated!! What happened to free speech?? All I was stating is that the OP seems to only be bothered because its leeds that got the funding.
  14. Who cares, wow Leeds are getting something Sheffield isnt, is it really that bigger deal?? Do you recon the same was said when Sheffield got trams?? When Sheffield got Meadowhell?? And i'm sure there is more instances!! Grow up
  15. Get over it, everyone Hillsbro' side of town had to last year!! 2 days with no power!! And our freezer didnt defrost, just dont open the door on it and it will be fine.
