Hi All, Now i don't want to cause offence here or start a flaming war but i have a question, i havn't really been on for a while and have just been reading some posts. Why is it as soon a somebody mentions the colour of somebodys skin or nationality somebody will jump on basically calling them racists, bigots or BNP voters. Now i wish to point out here and now i don't vote BNP i never have and never will so don't start implying i do. However, how patronising is it to not call a Black man Black, my best mate in Ipswich was Black and wanted to be known as such not Afro/carabian as he pointed out he was born in Suffolk. Don't you understand how pathetic you sound and even if you have the best motives you are killing your argument with your crass stupidty and a belief we should all think like you act like you and talk like you. If you want and your dog has been running at Sheffield in the last couple of years they do DVD'S of the races as well. You choose the races you want, lets be honest you'll probably be looking for the winning races and the cameraman there will do you a DVD of these races, there is a charge for this but it is well worth it, i have a few races from Alfie, he was Carigeen Spirit, A1 class until injured then a few months of the track before another 40 odd races in lower grades. All races at the track are recorded, all meetings except Sat nights go to all betting shops in country via SIS and these are the pictures you will get. Enjoy Jamiexx

I love seeing ours off the leash but can't trust him if not totally enclosed, he might not run to far but he gets there quickly. I would argue that a greyhound running around the track is also a thing of beauty and they seem to enjoy it as well. Jamiexx

Hi All, Anybody know of a good Dog nail clipping service, i don't want a full groom just the nails clipped for a greyhound. We used to use a service but since we moved we lost her number and he really needs them doing again now. We are living in Heeley. Does anybody know anyone or do you do it? What a bunch of whingers, i lived in Hillsborough and caught the trams practically on a daily basis. It is great value for money, regular on time clean and warm. Of course it is busy at peak times, thats why they are called peak times and as for the student who wants discount one question for you . Why should you get discount on anything? jamie

Come on Beadle you can jump out now and tell me this topic is a wind up. when words like the dangerous dogs act come into play for Greyhounds i know we are all going mad, i got mine about a year ago he has been patted by everybody from 5 to 85 the only time i tell people to watch out is if they have food in thier hands as he will enjoy nicking it but i have seen so many Greys walking and at shows etc and never even a hint of needing a muzzle on any of them, that being said if you arn't sure of your dog yes muzzle him but i would guess that number would be minimal. If your going to start muzzling Greyhounds you would have to make a case for muzzling all dogs in public all the time as any dog can turn though the chances are very slim. Lets start with breeds like Jack Russels
