To the OP: Has your child ever had a school photograph taken? If so, was it a man or a woman who took the picture? Further, did you request the negative (if they're doing it the old school way) or source file of the image so that they could not reproduce that picture any more? How is the photographer storing his/her data to ensure it cannot fall into the wrong hands? (You know, something like an evil duffle-coat wearing man.) What safeguards do they have in place? How many people handled the reproduced image of your child before it got into your hands? Your child has also appeared on countless hours of CCTV footage - you don't even know who has viewed or has access to such media. I appreciate your concern but I think your reaction was somewhat OTT. I suspect you approached the photographer in a confrontational manner and fearing the worst (not only for his equipment but for himself) he bolted. As stated, photographic equipment (certianly professional standard DSLR's) can cost into the thousands.

Does the 'original' Akhbars on Meadowbank Road still sit you at the bar for a short while before seating you at a table?

I've been to the one at meadowhall and centertainment and the burgers are delicious. Not the sort of thing I would expect from a chain but they are very very nice... lovely chips too!

I went there for lunch a few weeks ago on Saturday (around 12ish) and it was quiet so perhaps the noise could be down to the time you visit? I saw Bill Bailey in there too. Food was excellent and I can't wait to go again.

Perhaps not but people are warned that they will be given a ticket (rightfully or wrongfully) for using the arena car park.

I'm not saying whether or not it was right that your friend got the ticket but isn't there small a-board style signs on the way into centertainment advising not to use the arena car park? I could be wrong (its been a few months since I've been) but I'm sure I saw them during my last visit.

I got my current car a couple of years ago from Johnson's Cars on Hollinsend Road (I did but their web address here but I have less than 5 posts so can't post it!) and I found them to be really decent. I've not had any issues with it since.

Zara's is great, you won't be dissapointed. It's been a while since my last visit but everytime I've been the service and food have both been excellent.

Hi all, I'm after finding the best place to go to get some real italian style pizza in the city. I don't really care where it is or what the place looks like so long as the food is great. Ideally, I don't want it to be a chain (as I thought Zizzi do a nice pizza) so does anybody have any recommendations please?
