  1. Preferably anywhere that is close to the center of town or on the Meadowhall tram route. Thanks
  2. Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows of any places that I can hire out for a small martial arts group to practice? It will only be for a few people to start with so doesn't have to be that big, and if the room had mats as well that would be a huge bonus but they aren't necessary. We would be looking to hire the room once a week in the evening for about 2 hours. Thanks in advance - Steven
  3. Hi, I’ve recently started a band with a friend of mine, who has been an amazingly good karaoke singer for years. But now that we have started practicing in a band, he is having a lot of trouble with his voice, to a point where he can only sing one or two songs. This is also affecting his enthusiasm and motivation to continue. Now I know absolutely nothing about singing, but I’m guessing that it requires practice, and was wondering if anyone had any advice or could recommend any resources or vocal coaches? Thanks
  4. Cheers sccman, Ill spread the word to my friends, I’m sure some of them would be interested in playing, if not at least helping out. Incidentally, did you see the Dolphins cheerleaders when they came to Bar One at Sheffield Uni for a NFL/Coors promotional night? It was a great night Code13 - Ill check out that 'Friday Night Lights', it looks quite good.
  5. Now this is a great idea Id definatly be up for getting involved in something like this. I've never played it before but i do know a little about it (as one of my friends is a massive dolphins fan) Cheers
  6. hey kipple, you got any times for the Shorinji Kempo classes?
  7. Cheers kipple, ill look into that I guess for the same reason most people go and check out a martial art. Cause I like the look of what ive seen
  8. Little harsh! I somehow dont think youd go to a dating event like this to date someone who your not attracted to though. My friend keeps on persuading me to go to something like this, i must admit im tempted, but i havn't been on one yet.
  9. There is nothing better than character buidling Its not selfish at all, im loving the space, just cause it gives me the time to develop myself
  10. Yeah, it makes it so much easier to get on with your life when you can just accept that youve had some good and bad times, and that the years spent with yor partner are not wasted they have made you into who you are Yep, feels like second chance at life to me too
  11. Been living alone for about a month now, and it is the best thing that i did. Had to get over the initial loneliness, but even after a month its much easier. I always have things to do when im there, so I never really get bored. Although, im still waiting on my sofa! The joys of getting an unfurnished flat
  12. Thanks What else could I possibly say to two 's ?
  13. Only when the relationship was going bad! Although now, rather than enjoying being single, I’m more enjoying not having to work so hard at a relationship that wasn't going anywhere. Now the stress is gone I have the time to improve myself and to stop focusing my attention on one thing. But you don’t have to be single to do that, one of my best friends (in a way a mentor to me) has been with his girlfriend for 5 years (maybe more) and I would say he is carefree, he’s always finding ways to improve himself and to keep his life full and also finds time to spend with his girlfriend I think your lucky
  14. Absolutely! Even if the other person isn’t an a*seh*le you can still waste your life away trying to fix a relationship that simply isn’t working. Being single does have its benefits, you can look back and think "I am so glad I’m not with them anymore".
  15. Ok, ill give this a shot I’m still trying to figure out this being single malarkey, but here goes... Age: 27 M Interests: Rock/metal music, Learning Guitar, Drinks n Corporation with friends Scuba Diving + anything that is character building. 5 words to describe yourself: Honest, Compassionate, Intelligent, Optimistic, Single! What I'm Looking for: Someone (female) who can love me back as much as I love them Until then, someone cool who i can chill with *awaiting PM's*
