  1. We also use M Mitchell on all our jobs if my customers require a price for ANY decorating. Kind Regards, mfd design&build
  2. thank you for the recommendation Michael.
  3. we would charge £35 per door...that would include shaping to the existing frame...if there is eleven in one house I would charge £30 per door......
  4. We design and build built in wardrobes and have many satisfied customers from previous jobs. Depending on the size of the wardrobe you're needing I would say the figure would start from £1000 + ... click on the link below to see our gallery on fitted wardrobes. http://mfddesignandbuild.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=7&page=1 Kind Regards mfd design & build.
  5. I would guestimate £1000 - £5000.....
  6. Thanks for the feedback John Before - http://mfddesignandbuild.co.uk/gallery/displayimage.php?album=10&pos=29 After - http://mfddesignandbuild.co.uk/gallery/displayimage.php?album=10&pos=30
  7. my heels are dug in firmly! I'm still pricing the same rate as last year, if customers want a high quality job, guarantee and after care service then we should not be dropping prices to much (but of course we have bills and families to feed). Booked up with large jobs until the start of October, room for 1-3 day jobs. Any customers would like free quotes / advice then please contact me using the information below, thanks.
  8. Thankyou for the feedback Pauline much appreciated. I will contact you regarding the quote for your mothers home. Kind Regards mfd design & build.
  9. contact roofersheff from the forum, you can find him on the 'jobs wanted' section
  10. funny you should say that Dan, If I price a job for customers that have contacted me from other areas of advertising they will at least send me an e-mail letting me know they have received the quote and are looking at their options. And of course it is the customers choice!
  11. It is the same as some customers! We spend a lot of our time discussing the proposed work, we then go away and spend our time typing up their proposed job, for us not to hear a word from them. You can guarantee that 3 out of 10 quotes the customers do not even bother to say something like 'thanks for your time we have decided to use another builder'. It is pretty sad because they have had your advice and ideas for free!
  12. Thank you for the feedback Ollie and Paul it's much appreciated. P.s thanks very much for the bonus Ollie
  13. 100% agree SlinkyMinky, I have always Pm'ed prospective customer ever since i joined this forum. And as far as self promoting goes that is lame, I fell the victim of a Kitchen fitter off of here. They had two user names from what i found out and also there friends were recommending them on their thread. I know people are struggling for work and stuff but surely they should be using other means of advertising to find work, I know I do.
  14. would be happy quote for the work, however we would not be able to start the work until March. Regards Mark.
