  1. Joe, you should have stopped modding and started posting your mind freely ages ago - you're adding to this place more now than you did as a mod.
  2. Indeed, but that doesn't mean that they are. I might think it's normal to eat slugs and dog muck, but most people would disagree with me and think me quite abnormal.
  3. I think we all know that in the case of several ethnic groups, their attitudes do reflect the group as a whole, and the upstanding good citizens are a minority.
  4. Regrettably I don’t take notes as I read, but there have been admissions by the government that hosing and employment issues are worsening because of the level of immigration. It doesn’t take the brains of a rocket scientist to work out that in a country that does not have 100% employment, allowing more people in will lead to increased unemployment – unless those immigrants are coming in and setting up companies, which the vast, vast majority most certainly do not. That came form a Chief Constable who openly cited the immigrant populations as overwhelming her force due to their lawless attitudes from other cultures.
  5. Hmm - might I surmise that it would be considered inappropriate to advocate violence under such circumstances?
  6. Mmmm - two points to raise. Why is Sheffield 'glorious'? Why is Mr Vasey a 'useless unfunny *******'? Perhaps because his humour is based on issues which offend you? He makes me smile - mostly (though he can be crude for the sake of crudeness) - as he does many people, so he's hardly useless or unfunny. as for his family background, I have no knowledge.
  7. Is that because they can solve the Mirror crossword, while the right-wingers take a little longer with the Telegraph?
  8. The obvious answer is that the social problems we face with the Somalians, Pakistanis, Afro-Caribbeans, and Jamaicans are not reflected by the positive traits of the Chinese, Japanese or Jewish communities. It's a bit like asking why don't we like muggers, when we like nurses.
  9. Ah - perhaps that's because there role models are of the same ilk.
  10. Okay, let's look at it differently. Would you employ member of combat 18 with swastikas tattooed on his neck and forehead, knowing that his hobbies included going out at weekend to beat up Asians, and that he would support a party if it proposed gassing all non-whites and homosexual. No? Well, that's discrimination. You should just let him get on with his life and pay him the money he needs to get on with his hobbies.
  11. Perhaps that's why black pupils do sooo well in western schools. Some might say that's because they're discriminated against and our education systems don't cater for their attitudes and special needs. I see it that bright kids do well, and thick ones don't.
  12. Perhaps our views differ a tad - I see being forced to employ somebody whose lifestyle and mannerisms offend me as being directly equivalent to somebody trespassing in my home; in fact, it would be worse - because the law would support the unwanted employee being forced upon me.
  13. Why should the employer not have rights? Offering somebody a job in your organisation is not that different to inviting somebody into your home - should anybody who so desires have the right to walk into your house and help themselves to the drinks cabinet, or would you prefer it just to be your chosen friends on invitation.
  14. The armchair experts will seriously challenge your claim here - but you are absolutely right. I've worked in that part of the world and can confirm that the average inhabitant is as thick as a plank. That's why most of them never evolved out of the stone age without Western guidance - and they'd regress right back within 2 or 3 generations at most if we totally pulled out.
  15. A 'straight' guy who minces and wears makeup is clearly a mixed-up individual who does not conform to the norms of 'straightness' in the eyes of most men. Such an individual would not be able to contribute and work as a team member in my profession, as the vast majority of the 200,000 or so other people in that line of work would find such an individual to be off-putting and uncomfortable to be around. That said, the makeup would not be permitted in the first place.
