  1. Hi, I am need of someone to do catering for a birthday party on saturday for 40/50 people. Nothing fancy, just a few nibbles and sandwhiches. I have no time to do it myself but can pick the food up from somewhere on saturday. I don't need any fancy extras just a basic buffet. Someone please help!!
  2. Thanks, I am awaiting a call back from the bowling club. I am now looking at the 29th so the sunday is no good but thanks anyway.
  3. I am looking for a venue to hold a 40th party at the end of march. Need somewhere that allows children. It terms of cost I am looking at cheapish but would be prepared to pay if it means I can do my own catering. Also looking for somewhere where we could set up our own sound system so the birthday boy and his friends can get their old vinyl out (unless you already have this set up of course). Please help I am desperate!! Xx
  4. Hi, does anyone know of a charity shop that is actually taking donations?! Been to two today and they won't take them. Its good quality clothing, toys and bedding. Seems strange to be turned down. (And no they didn't look through it and decide against it!). Somewhere in or near the town centre. I'm asking on here as I don't want to waste my time driving around again! Thanks.
  5. Hi, Hope this is in the right place. Just wondering if anyone can advise me of any cheap hairdressers that will put a full head colour on. I've always done it myself for under a tenner but my bathroom is out of action at the moment so its a no go area for hair dye. So either cheap, or someone who is looking for models. Thanks to anyone who can help.
  6. Sorry to hijack the thread! I was wondering if anyone has the old Discover plan materials that i could have/buy? That suited me for ages and this new one just doesn't work as well. I have managed to keep my weight off for a while now so its just about maintaining and jumping back on it when i have had a weekend away etc! I stupidly threw my old stuff away but am just looking for the shopping book (that has everything in it!) and the book with the basic foods in that came in your folder. Good luck to everyone in their weightloss and i'm sure the new plan works great for you all. I just managed to find a plan that suits me and actually works so want to revert back. My own fault for throwing it out! Thanks xxx
  7. I am looking for a personal trainer but I have very limited funds! I have managed to lose abit of weight over the past year and would like to get the last stone off before summer. I'm sure i can do this by continuing what I have been doing (eating healthily and running). However my main priority is toning and just need pointing in the right direction of what i need to be doing for my particular problem areas. I am pretty self motivated so was just looking for someone I can see once or twice a month to advise me and check on my progress. I'm looking for things I can do at home or the great outdoors as a gym isn't really convenient. I wish I could afford to see someone a couple of times a week but really can't so please don't suggest it! (I'm aware I would probably get better results by doing that). Is there anyone out there who can help a determined little lady!!?
  8. Also forgot to say, it would have to be suitable for children aswell as i don't want to leave my five yeard old out of the celebrations!!
  9. I hope someone can help me with this. I am looking for a venue to have my 30th. I don't want a proper party, just somewhere that i can go with family and close friends to have a meal and drinks. I am looking at 30 people maximum and its at the end of September. Would like it as close to city centre as possible to make it easy for everyone to geth there. Anyone got any ideas??? xx
  10. he is doing it on his own. it was an idea he had the other week. i can ask him if he would like a friend! spooferman, who mentioned tree hugging?? Oh and can i say thank you to the lovely person from the sheffield forum who has already donated. it really is appreciated. xxxx
  11. Hi, I am just trying to raise awareness of my little brothers charity bike ride from the Angel of the North to Sheffield. This is for Cash for Kids which is run by Hallam FM. He will be doing this on December 11th in the harsh cold weather! Please take a look at his website and give anything you can to support this great cause. I know its near christmas but every little helps! The website is http://www.justgiving.com/Daniel-Mellors Thanks for your support. xx
  12. there was one called finders keepers aswell.
  13. i would go for this!!! i have been thinking of stuff like this recently so let us know if you get this off the ground.
  14. this is usually happening before he goes to bed. between 6-8 usually. he goes to bed ok and sleeps through. although, thinking about it he has been rather wet when he wakes in a morning. no disturbed sleep though. its a strange one this one. it just seems strange that its always at night and that its such alot to come out of a little boys body!
  15. hi, just wanted advice on this if anyone has experienced anything similar. my son is 3 and for the past couple of weeks he has been going to toilet for a poo three or 4 times in the evening. this is usually in the space of a couple of hours. sometimes he goes again straight after he has been. each time there is quite alot there and its quite soft (sorry for the detail). he seems ok other than this. my first thought is a milk intolerance, but wouldn't that mean he would go to the loo after each drink of milk. he has about three drinks of milk (small cups) a day aswell as the milk on his cereal. i am taking him to the doctors but wanted any ideas from you helpful lot! x
