  1. Sorry I haven't read all the posts (I'm a lazy forummer, you'll learn that about me), so... For me it comes down to supply and demand. If there are more people wanting to foster/adopt than there are kids needing to be fostered/adopted, then we can be choosy about who we let foster/adopt. Whether or not you smoke seems to me to be a reasonable way of weeding people out. I stopped smoking a while ago, part of my motivation was that one day I'll have kids and I don't want them to see me doing it, or being put at risk. I don't know what the situation is in Sheffield, but I expect that like most major cities demand is greater than supply, so the last thing we need to be doing is weeding people out of a pool which is already woefully small. Personally, I would rather have kids placed in stable and smoke-free environments, but if it comes to a choice I'll take stability over smoke-free everytime.
  2. Surrogates on DVD. 3/10 cos I'm in a good mood,
  3. Does my bum look big in this?
  4. Thank you all for your replies, we've seen them in Wedding shops and florists but they're so damn expensive, so we're trying to put it together ourselves (saving my fiancee's family a bit of money )
  5. Hello, I need help. Google was rubbish so I thought I'd try here. Does anyone know where I can find huge Martini Glasses that we could use as table centres? The ones my fiancee has seen are about 2ft tall with huge bowls (I said BOWLS). Thanks in advance for all your helpful hints. Sean
  6. I have a setof Altec Lansing speakers that I got in Maplin for £50 quid and they're sound. Better than spending hundreds of quid on speakers just so they come with a little logo on em.
  7. Hello, Has anyone else had problems with their ipod randomly causing their PC to restart when they connect it? It's happened a few times with my PC (XP Pro SP2, bang up to date). Oddly enough, when I reported the error to Microsoft it said the rror was: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER STOP: 0x100000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER_M and said it was a video device problem. How could my ipod trigger a video device problem (it is one of the new ones with video on it but that can't be it surely?) Anyone else had this problem? Please help. Thanks
  8. Won't they charge you to fix it rather than replace if you've been installing OS over the one it came with, or messing on with partitions? There's a lesson in here people. PCs and PC World do not mix.
  9. Works fine for me and as a newly converted person can i just say - tabbed browing? - about flippin time Bill! Anyway, just last night i was watching some kid playing heartbeats on youtube. And he was a bit rubbish to be fair but then he did look about six.
  10. Does anyone know where, or even if, I can get an instrumental version of Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez? If so, where where where? I've seen all the ones on Myspace but they're, well, pants. If you can help me that would be fab. Thanking you all kindly for reading and helping Limpetboy
