  1. I don't believe in god. I don't need a god to give me comfort, I've lived my life, had my fun, loved, had my heart broken, and now it's about waiting to die. Going to sleep forev er is not scarey. I welcome it because life has been hard and I need a rest!
  2. Nice to know the death of another human is amusing for some people, when concerning a natural herb that is proven to benefit sufferers of cancer and other illnesses. Educate yourself, don't accept what is forced down your neck, don't be an imbecile.
  3. Was just wondering if anyone is depressed. I'm interested in knowing how people deal with it, medication? I really don't wanna turn to any meds. I've not even been to the doctors lately, because some days I am happy enough but 2 out of three days I feel like utter ****e. To be honest I've been depressed for a number of years. I rarely visit the medical center, when I do it's usually because I really need to, I have to drag myself there. The last time I was there, maybe 2 years ago, I mentioned how depressed I was, but the doctor just fobbed me off. I'm not really into meds anyway, I'd much rather get through it by myself, but I must question am I just stuck here? in this frame of mind... after so long. I'm heading for 30, and I just want to be comfortable in life, but its like a ball and chain around my foot.
  4. Sound advice thank you. Hoping this is sorted well before the end of the month, but if it's not I'll have a chat with my landlord about it and discuss my options.
  5. My rent has been covered and is up to date, (I borrowed it) it's not the landlord I owe for it, but now it's got to the point where I can't lend any more, as the funds are just not there. I understand what you are saying. My landlord has been great with me since I've moved in, and I'd sooner move out than leave them waiting for their money. Hopefully this gets sorted soon.. I can't move back home with parents at my age!
  6. More good info, cheers. The £60 per week is enough for me to get by. Do you know if I would be liable to pay any council tax? That could be too much if so..
  7. Thanks Jaynie. Next stop is Howden House for me, one last attempt to sort it with them directly, face-to-face, then it might be time to make a formal complaint and put the pressure on them. Glad she got sorted!
  8. Thanks. In fairness I have been renting it privately for 2 years. Never missing a payment for the full amount. I have also paid my taxes all my working life. I understand it may be more suitable to have a 1 bedroom flat now, but to be honest, I am settled here and I plan on getting back into work ASAP. The market is flooded with rental property, there are no shortages atm, and my rent is as cheap as any 1 bedroom flat on the market. It's not beneficial for anyone if I moved to be honest, as I would still only get contributions based on being a single person, for 1 bedroomed or shared accommodation.
  9. Cheers And believe me, I'm a worker, it's in my blood. Finding work is proving difficult atm though, hopefully I'm just going through a slight blip in life.
  10. I'm looking mate! I didn't understand the second sentence sorry.
  11. Will do, we will see what they say when I go down armed with all my info
  12. Thanks, good info. Hopefully this thread will be of some help to others as well by using the site seach, or google search. I don't wan't others to deal with this situation blindly and end up as stressed as I have been.
