  1. Yes you could go to Pinders or Staples. Also there is a printers on Wellington Street near the old fire station. Depends which area of the city centre your interview is.
  2. If you didn't notify them of your change of address, and something happened to the car, likey would refuse to payout!
  3. Places like Autotec or Technicar should be able to fit parking sensors. I'd want a decent job, if not they could de-value the car.
  4. Some of these companies say one thing when they are selling you their service, and once you have agreed to their services and payment made, you don't get what you asked for. When you go back and discuss this with them, they water down their claims as though it was you who misunderstood the requirements. Have a go yourself.
  5. Just about all the tyre shops will likely do it, Dave on Ribston Road which is just off Staniforth Road would be a good one.
  6. Just to add to comments above, entrance is opposite Yorkshire Building Society which is at Barkers Pool. One thing to remember is to take both parts of the licence.
  7. What car is it and is it a manual or automatic gearbox?
  8. Now that bus lane enforcement is in place on Queens Road, I think it runs better now than it did before.
  9. I've just bought one from Sisman's on the Wicker. Said they had four left so worth giving them a call first.
  10. I've just rang Makro and they have none in stock. They are expecting some next week but not able to say what day.
  11. I'd give the team at the council who are in charge of these road alterations a call and raise it with them.
  12. The OP mentions that the lesson price is £20 and not worthwhile for him to teach you. The instructor can't blame the hourly rate because he has set it, or is working at that rate as part of an agreed rate within a franchise. My advice would be take a step back, conisder changing your test date to a slightly later one and find a new instructor. There may be some underlying faults that need correcting, leaving these faults could cost you in the long run if they remain. Although we focus on price when looking for instructors, go with an instructor you feel comfortable with. I would avoid the cheaper hourly rates as they have no incentive to perform, I feel a low hourly rate does not inspire confidence.
  13. I was passing the Mind charity shop on London Road, I think I saw some in the window there. might be cheaper to buy these than hire a pair, could always hand them back to the charity shop when you've finished with them?
  14. I came down Hanover Way where the old Mercedes garage used to be, it's now being used as a car park, think it said something like £2.50. Might be worth having a look.
  15. Another vote for Chris, his website is: http://www.theosteopathicpractice.com He's bases just off Manchester Road. Could I ask what condtion it is your going for, if your happy to say, drop me a pm as just interested to see if its the same condition we went for.
