  1. If we are still out of the bottom 3 by the last game I'll feel much more confident. Huddersfield have got Birmingham next, whatever the result there will put us back in the bottom 3 I think with our poor goal difference unless we can avoid defeat here. As always I'm not confident, I'll just wait and see without making any prediction and pray whatever we do in the next 2 games is enough to keep us up.
  2. Beat me to replying. Maybe the TSY person you spoke to wasn't as in the know as you thought. I doubt anyone would risk voiding any insurance by not parking them in the place the insurance expect them to be put either. I'm sure many questions will be asked when it's died down.
  3. I could be wrong but I thought he said it was a staff member at the interchange or something like that rather than TSY/SYMCA. It wouldn't have to be someone high up that would of dealt with the insurance so not sure how accurate @SheffieldForum information, might of been more hearsay.
  4. You'd have to ask them that but the question was surely asked when the insurance was sorted out as to where they were stored overnight.
  5. I don't know how accurate the information I was given about charging time was, he could of been wrong for all I know. I'm not sure how long it takes to charge would of been a consideration as to where to store them anyway. This incident does seem to show they need to evaluate how they are stored though, even if just better security.
  6. Didn't he spend some on the north stand concourse? Even so I'm guessing it wasn't a great amount, not even close to what the ground actually needs spending on it.
  7. It's a disgrace. I hope all clubs band together, maybe boycott the fa cup but then the top clubs would probably be happy about it so I don't know if that would work.
  8. Rotherham have lost their manager though so you never know, I can't see it myself either though. I'm not optimistic we'll get the 3 points but as always I hope I'm proved wrong.
  9. Yes it's supposedly not as simple to tow an electric bus compared to a diesel bus.
  10. I only know the drivers were sent down as normal which would indicate the company knew nothing about it also if it was towed in the towing company would of been in on the conspiracy, it's not a simple 1 minute job putting the bus back at the charging points, unhooking it and putting the charging wire in, so that just doesn't make sense to me the towing part. Also the CSI were on the smashed up bus most of the morning, I'd of thought all that would of been done where it had been crashed to not destroy evidence. Like you say though theres that many different versions going around but I can only go on what I've heard and seen myself.
  11. One was definitely stolen and smashed up, the other I was under the impression hadn't left the interchange but could be wrong on that. However one wasn't found 60 miles away, both were parked up in the interchange, first thing the company knew about it was when the drivers got to the buses for start of service.
  12. Maybe this will make them re think it, probably not though after spending money on the charging points. I doubt SPCT would be happy about the council wanting to store them at brightside, I guess the contract and costings were done on the basis of them staying in the interchange overnight. Company costs would go up having to store there. If anything this will be a wake-up call for the council/interchange about the security there.
  13. Not what I've been told but can't give many details while the police are investigating. Not a good look though for the interchange having it happen at all, whatever the circumstances. Hopefully they can get a good view of the driver from the bus or interchange CCTV and get him charged.
  14. Yea obviously depends on the route and weather but the connects seem to use around 26% in a day. I wouldn't know how hilly the 51 is, that would make big difference I guess.
