  1. There's a fair few S.H.A.R.P Skins around Sheffield
  2. I've seen the first two films and they have done a reasonable job, the casting is excellent but as usual if you have read the books there is a lot missing. The police investigation in the second book has been pretty much cut out along with a lot of the media coverage so it loses that aspect of the tension. If you have not read the books, the films work as pretty decent thrillers but I would much rather have seen them each as an 8 or 10 part quality TV series. I'm halfway through the 3rd audiobook at the moment and I don't really want to finish it because I will know the ending. I might leave the final chapter and then start the entire series all over again later this year. Wonderful books and I'm really not looking forward to the American remakes of the films.
  3. We are at exactly the same point we were this time last years according to some stats I've been reading. 26 games into the season and in 6th place.
  4. Bardwells on Abbeydale Road. Sometimes its worth just going in to hear the banter and bickering between the people who run the place.
  5. It's not as good as the one at the bottom of London Road
  6. Pity it's not the weekend after, I think it's their beer festival over there around then
  7. One of the handful of pubs that I will drink in when in town. Good place
  8. Cracking night out, I've not been to The Tuesday Club for a while and I really enjoyed last night.
  9. The good thing about tonight's result is that both Brum and Reading have to win to gain promotion and it forces United into going for the win as well. I said a long time ago that goal difference will settle this and I hope I'm wrong
  10. Tickets now on sale at Jacks Records, Airy Fairy and from Corporation £12 advance.
  11. A lot of people were working today, not everybody gets bank holidays off
