Do you like Earl Grey? If not, why?
dennistowler replied to boutiquechoc's topic in General Discussions
I enjoy the very occasional Earl Grey but its far from my favourite tea....I prefer Assam, Darjeeling and Lapsang. -

What do you think of our Mods and Admin on Sf?
dennistowler replied to barmyowls's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
None...but it still doesn't stop me worrying, for example, about the Immigration thread that mysteriously disappeared a couple of weeks ago after you had received repeated warnings but when you finally screamed for it all to be deleted, it was. or your chum, who seems to be the only person on the forum who can get away with calling people "arseholes" and trolling threads about helping the mentally handicapped. You've had 7 bans yet you are still tolerated? How is that? -
What was the next thing you'll have bought?

Really good pictures Fuzzle....its nice to see different takes and shots of views and also good to play "match the face with the name" on some of the group shots

dennistowler replied to barmyowls's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
At the risk of a ban(!) I think most of the mods / admin team do a good job but far too often let their personal opinions of posters get in the way of doing an unbiased job. One or two posters in particular seem to be able to get away with endless trolling, sniping and general bitchiness but such are the perceived conflicts of interest and relationships they have with the mod/admin team, that other users are fearful to report them in case they themselves receive a ban or a threatening PM from admin or a mod. -
Colds... but which bit is worse symptom?
dennistowler replied to *_ash_*'s topic in General Discussions
Mine has now lasted a week but is finally improving and I felt reasonably OK yesterday. My nose is still a bit bunged up which impacts on my asthma, as I am unable to breathe through my nose properly, but I'll be OK for work today providing I have plenty of hankies -

Where Is Your Work Christmas Do This Year?
dennistowler replied to Clik32's topic in General Discussions
We had one last year that ended up in near fisticuffs and disciplinary action. This year there are smaller teams and so more select gatherings. I think my team is going to the San Remo..without me though. I really can't be bothered socialising with work when I have to spend so much amongst them anyway. -
I like the poster - Occupation - Unknown.....and there I was thinking he was a mild mannered janitor

Bonfire Night 2007. I'm dreading it - what are your thoughts?
dennistowler replied to SheShe's topic in General Discussions
I love the night itself I just get fed up with length of time prior to the day that fireworks keep being set off. -
Should benefit payments be increased?
dennistowler replied to Green Web's topic in General Discussions
What if you've never paid NI because you've been busy bringing up your children on your own? Everyone is different and there are a whole lot of varied circumstances that result in people being on benefits. I don't think a one size fits all policy is fair. There are people who don't want to be on benefits and try their hardest to get off them whereas others seem to be content to live their life on benefits -
My friends are 40 ish, enjoy walking, harbours, nice food, quiet restaurants and sightseeing. They go to the Greek Islands every year exploring and generally having a relaxed stressfree time.
