  1. Remember it well, I bought my first Frank Zappa album from there(Hot Rats)😭 and also a copy of Oz school kids edition which was banned at the time, a right under the counter job. They also had a sister shop in Chesterfield with a much better selection of LPs.
  2. Cheers Wallace, I'll give it a go.👍
  3. Does anyone know anybody or any firm that provides this service?. I need an old door knocker buffing up. Cheers in advance.
  4. I have always been able to play twitter feeds on forums well before, but lately they just buffer forever and I cant play them. Anybody any idea why? thanks in advance.
  5. Yes it has, that's why Labour will never get elected aging if it keeps picking leaders in the Corbyn mould. The electorate saw through all Labours policies as just another Labour government putting the country into billions of debt AGAIN, on top of the mountain of debt we already have.
  6. Anyone who thinks Corbyn, Abbott, McDonnell and Watson are fit to run this country are quite simply:loopy:
  7. I'm from that well known district of Manchester called Attercliffe:D, so in your eyes I'm a gloryhunter, but as I said, you take the good with the bad, and over the years there have been bad times at Old Trafford(remember relegation back in the 70s?). but I'm still there, and always will be. Wednesday are doing quite well at the moment, going to a match in the near future are we? Or will you be sat in your armchair on Friday night watching the Owls play Boro?
  8. This week ??????? that was my point, some of us have been going for years and always will do, you take the good with the bad. This premise that all Man Utd fans are gloryhunters has stuck for years, every team has them, even Wednesday, some of the Wednesday I know, their last match was at Wembley in 91, some Blades fans I know only go if they get to the playoffs:confused: Even the mighty Rotherham fans I know haven't been since the last time they were at Wembley. You support your team, no matter what, which as a part time Sheff Wed fan, you obviously do not.
  9. Maybe if you went to Hillsborough more than once(like you stated in an earlier post) and I suspect there are plenty more supporters just like you, Wednesday might be in a better position than they are now from the revenue that you could have put into the club over the years. I suspect you are just another TV supporter who never puts a penny into any clubs coffers through the turnstiles, but into Murdochs millions by your subsciptions. And as for your gloryhunter thing, looking at the stats Man Utd averaged 57K in 1968 54K in 1976 51K in 1980, so it looks like some of the gloryhunters have been around for some time. As a pundit once said, If Man Utd didn't exist, you would have to invent them.
  10. One home game, I knew you were a keyboard warrior, reads all the crap the tabloids feed you and take it as gospel. Sad really.
  11. Like I said, get your facts right, Man Utd beat Crystal Palace in the Cup Final not Chelsea:heyhey: And you call it the worthless cup, to many Wednesday fans, it was the greatest day in their history, beating(fairly I might add, they were the better team on the day) Fergusons United.
  12. Since Ferguson left, Man Utd have won 4 trophies, the FA Cup under Van Gaal, The Charity Shield, The League Cup and The Europa League under Mourinho. You are right, they are not the team that Ferguson had and probably never will be again. But in other words, get your facts right:thumbsup:
  13. I'll have a word with PC savvy guy, and get back to you. ---------- Post added 17-09-2018 at 18:19 ---------- Apparently he read it on some windows blog, now whether the story is true or not, I Don't know:suspect:
  14. Update. Switching off my laptop yesterday and as you all know the update tab showed. I updated. restarted and low and behold, I'm back to all my original settings, Symbaloo has gone. I mentioned this to a friend last night who is very PC savvy, he told me that he had read recently Symbaloo was a Microsoft app they installed, but they have had that many complaints they decided to stop it in it's tracks. Can anyone confirm this? Anyway, normality has returned to this old duffer.
