  1. In a nutshell: Look at the job, look at yourself and decide how many pages are sufficient for your CV. A 2-page CV will do the job for most of the applicants. More: Length of a CV
  2. NHS interview: Healthcare interview questions and answers Below are common interview questions: 1. What are your educational qualifications? How many years of experience do you have in healthcare fields? 2. What would your core competencies be, when it comes to NHS Jobs? 3. Have you ever been through an emergency situation? What position did you handle during the emergency situation? 4. Do you consider yourself to be social? Can you tell us of a time when you used your social skills to help the patients? 5. Could you tell us of a time when you used your leadership skills to handle a situation? 6. What is the best aspect that you like about your job? These are some of the questions asked during a NHS interview. Hope this helps.
  3. Hope this helps: http://www.yell.com/s/careers+advice-sheffield.html
  4. Check out my signature for some useful tips and guidelines.
  5. Working in the public sector unis is so such much better than working in the private sector. It's a world of difference from what I have heard and I guess the same will apply for Sheffield University.
  6. It depends for what you need it; business or personal? Our CV website is hosted with Inmotion Hosting which is great value for money. We needed something solid so we decided to pay a bit extra for it. If you just want to host some simple html webpages I would recommend going for Godaddy, although not overly reliable it has some cheap offers. Get a coupon and you're completely sorted.
  7. Absolutely spot on mate! Just because you are currently earning 15k doesn't mean you'll always earn 15k for the rest of your life. That's how career moves up so earning 15k in this day and age shouldn't be something anyone should look down upon IMO.
  8. That question seems to have been answered. I asked another related question, if that is alright with you (of course).
  9. What are the main reasons why these pubs are closing down?
  10. There are two tips that I can give you which will help you straight away: 1. Get work experience: yep, unpaid work I am afraid. 2. Work on your CV on a regular basis until it's perfect. We provide free CV Templates which can get you started straight away if you haven't got a CV to start working from. Good luck.
  11. I don't know if this is going to answer your question in any way but the call centres that are abroad are rubbish. I can't hear half of what they are saying, as if I'm talking to a robot that doesn't understand the human language. But as I said, that's the ones from abroad. Whether the same standards are also in the UK I'm not sure.
  12. I recently watched a TV programme where a rooster was 'confiscated' because it caused disturbance to the neighbours. It's legit, try to seek legal advice I would recommend!
  13. If you go on the jobcentre website you'll see that there are quite a few jobs that amount to 13.5/14k a year. Yes, £15.000 is decent when the money is wisely spent.
  14. One of my mates had a car similar to yours (not in make or model but its condition) and he put it up for sale on autotrader.co.uk with a nice picture (and a cheap price!) but also with the details of the problems. Well, what turned out to happen is that he sold his car and the person who bought it needed the parts rather than the car itself because they were so expensive to get find! Have you looked into putting it up for auction?
