  1. Andy, last night and today you were ranting about 1983 and me knowing fA. Today I had my phone transferred to my VM. U as usual say one thing to somebody and then say the opposite when "pulled on it". I was and am still in mixed company until Tuesday, so I will not have my phone on so you can swear at me like you do when proved wrong. I'm sorry mate but saying your drunk when you ring does not ring true anymore. As usual you say one thing and then when asked to pay up dont and kick off. I consequently will not bet with you again, your such a bad loser and this is one of the reasons you get barred from so many pubs!
  2. Come ON Andy Words pay up or are you just full of the ****e, you say everyone else is.... Your a bad loser, or is that just a Loser!!
  3. A so called friend of mine called me a liar about the dates Alex Higgins won the world title. I know for a fact he won in 1972 at a Working Mens Club, just outside Birmingham. I knew that he also won in 1982 at the Crucible against Ray Reardon and knocked Jimmy White out in the semi's. Jimmy was expected to win it after beating Cliff Thornburn. MY Mate Andywords on here will not beleive me or play the £1,000 bet he had with me. I met him on Friday, not having looked on the t'internet, but 90% certain of the year and who played in the final. To save his blushes, as he always thinks he's right, even when he's wrong I reduced the bet to £10. He still thinks that Higgins won in 1983, beating Davis in the final. This is the link I sent him and he still wont pay up or even say that he's wrong. I leave the people on here the proof and will let you tell him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1982_World_Snooker_Championship. The money was going to a charity and I think that he should now pay up TTman
  4. Hi people TTman here, I now play for Shiregreen TTC, they are an ETTA premier Club. They are having disabled Toilets and full access doors fitted in the next few weeks. We have several coaches and have a practice on Monday nights. The club is the place where the full monty was shot and has three tables to play on. Please contact either me or Ken Alvey, his son Shaun is a paid coach and recently got a National award from the ETTA (English Table Tennis Association), the countries national body for administration and playing TT. I hope this helps or Google Sheffield Table Tennis for details of other TT clubs in Sheffield TTman
  5. I have to state that the Table Tennis Team, I play for has just won the League with 4 more league match weeks to go. We are 9 points clear and nearly 50 sets and counting. There is only the vague possibility of a team coming within 3 points and that's if they win all there 4 games and we lose ours. We have yet to lose a game and have only drawn one match all season. We are looking to do the League and cup double too as we are into the final of the 3 a side KO... We are looking forward to collecting the silverware at the Sheffield Table Tennis League presentation, in May! What more can I say other than all my team mates are jolly good chaps and chapses's Oh I nearly forgot CHAMPIONS!!!
  6. Well thanks for all of that..All I wanted was one person to help me hang the Journo who wrote this article. We as a country forgive, empower and give help to more people than the rest of the world. A quote from the UN Thursday. I know we get EE's, somalis and the like come here ignore our laws and generally treat the "old tommy" crap. I love this country and it just winds me Press Association wallers build up and then slam things just to get a better bonus on their measly £40K. Enough said!
  7. Dear Damo, tried to reply to your thread but SF crashed. I used to be Crown and Bank Debt recovery agent. They are wrong, you need to go to a solicitor that specialises in Debt. The Bank are very low down on the pecking order over this debt. Any loans or HSBC cards should be covered under their insurance. They are trying to lengthen the process so that after 18 months the money will come to them!! Please go to a Debt councillor and solicitor now and get what is rightfully your mum's money. TT man
  8. I personally love this Country and think there are a lot worse places to live. We welcome people from all over the world with little or NO quarms. We try to give enterprise, bankers gambling our money away, people just coming here to scrounge and live off taxpayers etc, etc etc But this really has got me going http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20100922/tuk-great-britain-is-worst-place-to-live-dba1618.html Please discuss and tell me if I am wrong, over this article any way!!!
  9. Was drinking up pomona when it happened. The students were winding him up after he had a fight (verbal) with his partner/Girlfriend. They were being very silly and pushed the man well past anyone's breaking limit. It was first a slanging match and then one of them got hold of the pushchair. I was across the road walking to the nursery.....a couple of the students were waving bottles of wine around. Thats all I saw, I had got to the nursery and heard the shouts over the traffic, looked round to see flashing blade and bottles being used. At this time I was about 200 yards away. I later spoke to a couple of students, a few years later. They both admitted it got out of hand due to booze and them misundertsanding what was going on. The Women with them, said she tried to hit Mr Barnsley with the bottle first! He how ever got done for being over vealous....
  10. mATE LIVES UP THERE IT IS STILL OPEN!!!
  11. Dear All club now closed, but they have Wednesday sessions at EIS for £3 per hour. Look up Sheffield Table Tennis League and the club you are looking for is called Don Valley, you will have to provide your own bats and balls though. I hope this helps TTman
  12. Maybe Ben******** is in love and he's just shy. Give the person a break...
  13. Dear All, punchup, with one of the ex Wednesday "stars" from yester years. Sorry not being a bacon fan, I dont know which ex star it was...
  14. with. Her name was Yvonne Kay, before she got married and she used to be in charge of the postroom at Moorfoot. She was the postroom manager and used to live at Tinsley. I know its a long shot, but I thought i'd give it a go. TTman
