  1. one word of advice do not eat in damons i worked in there a couple of weeks back and left because the place is badley managed. the staff are really rude to the customers i could not belive paying people put up with this !!! the meeters and greeters are the worst very rude, the managers are all stale and bored like the food and if you saw the kitchen i would think no one from sheffeild would eat there at all its disgusting full of grease it needs a good scrub do not know how they get away with it what with health and saftey, while i was there they took a take away order and customer had a wheat allergy he also stated this at time of ordering it turned out he ended up with normal food of the normal menu so man ended up very ill because the left arm does not know what the right one is doing , not only that i cannot belive how they let children run around the restaurant screeming and shouting as if its a play ground, when i said somthing to the manager about this saying its not fair to the other customers who are paying for an expensive meal as the foods not cheap he just srugged his shoulders and walked off he really didnt care , at the time i was also working there with a black girl im white btw and i felt they didnt treat her to well either not giving her hours ect sending her home first ect i felt they didnt really want her there but had to employe her because she was black . Anyway dont know were owl chicks is coming from what a load of *** foods fresh prouduce, cooked to order its all pre packed rubbish like all the other American chains how do you think they can turn over so many people in one night all that place is intrested in is making as much money a poss and turning the tables around as a quick as they can to do that .
  2. Did you go look today and was he as nice as the photo , you said they have others up for sale do you know what they are as might be intrested in somthing .as im on look out for new horse 14hh upwards .
  3. I love my Bassett Hound Basil so Bassett Hounds would never have anything else
  4. i took my two dogs a bassett and my black lab we went around 3pm was really quiet when i went, thought there would be a queue and have to wait, the people there were really lovley and they provide a great service . they asked me were i heared about the microchipping and i told them the forum . wish i had tacken the cats but didnt have a cat carrier , if there is another one would love to hear about it again btw was there cat spaying vouchers going was not sure ,they said there was dog ones.
  5. I own a Basset Hound called Basil or he own us ;0) . i could not belive a breeder was selling pups called springbats a Springer x Bassett Hound they do look cute but i would never get one as you cannot beat a bassett i love them .
  6. hi i go to Parklands and im doing my BHS NVQ Level 2/3 i do not come from this area but from what ive seen on how they run the place its much better than most riding schools i know of from my area. The staff there do seem to really care about the horses and the yard is run really well . I will admit i have not had riding lessons from the riding instructors but my friend has one of them come out to her for her own horses , and from what ive watched when ive been at parklands the lessons seem really good, my only grip is how much riding lessons acutally cost (especially when you have owned and kept your own horse( btw mines out on loan at the mo) The horses at parklands are really good as ive ridden quite few of them in my lessons for my nvq2/3 and they do range from your plod to more forward going horses and if you dont like a certain horse i know the instructours will change it next time for you to find one you do like riding as they do like you to be happy . I would reccommed having riding lesson there , saying that i would not mind trying out snowdon park just to compare the two as ive heard a few good things about this place as well . oh and it is BHS approved otherwise i would not be able to do my course there let us know how you found the place and how your lesson went as id be intrested .
  7. Same thing happened to me i emailed primark then got a email at 10pm asking if i wanted to go to a interview next day in the morning so i phoned them to say i could not make it not only that im new to the area so needed to find out address of where the store is , they did say they would get back to me via email and so far i have heared nothing that was in june .
  8. hi i come from London and what i would reccommend is to put a really good pair of walking shoes on and tack lots of rests , the best place to start is at london bridge and walk over it not only that you can admire the tower of london before you walk over it once over you are on the south bank which is called jubillee walk (you just follow the river path) and you get a really great veiw of the city and all the buildings from this side of the river , while your walking over that side there are plenty of great cafes and pubs on the riverside to sit and relax and take a rests and watch the river , as you walk up you will see the globe theater its a lovley historic building and u hear the plays going on as its a outside theater then a little way up is the tate modern which i would recommend its free as well, also you can go on the roof top and look out the veiw is stunning you see the whole of the city in all its glory , then after this you come to the LWT tv center were there are loads of outside acts and entertainment going on comedy /magic /puppets /clowns / card tricks ect you can just mill about and watch you might get pull in as a assistant all the entertaners are mad and its good fun watching them they also seem to get the jap tourists or americans doing somthing funny , also the wheel is on this side nr westminster bridge then after this you can cross westminster bridge that takes you to big ben / westminster abbey / trifalger sq /buckingham places /ect ,this is an excellent way to see london as you get to see it from both sides and not many people tend to know about the south bank side, black cabs hate going over there as well its a bit of a north /south divide thing which is sad , ive been to london many many times there so much to see and explore i do not think i will every get to see all even in my life time .anyway enjoy im sure your have a great time whatever you do , it is a great city . sorry about my spelling havent time to correct .
