  1. up to now, there's only you that thinks it was irony. despair away, i don't give a flying squirrel.
  2. that parking warden has probably been called 'scum' many times. ask him if he thinks it's ironic. and what's wrong with me making a correlation between 'sucking up' and 'sucking off'?
  3. you're right. that could be sheffield forum's new slogan - "what's the point?"
  4. oh, overalls. i thought you meant vehicle service (overhaul) as tomm06 said, progressive safety; or arco (parkway avenue), there are others. some builders merchants also do them
  5. seriously? 10 character minimum? what a ****ing joke
  6. yeah me too. but i'd also take the keys out of the ignition and launch them as far as i could, preferably into a patch of nettles.
  7. that parking warden will probably have been sacked by now.

  10. horses for courses. long ton, or short ton?
  11. my other car has none of today's technology, no ABS, ESP, or TCS. no airbags, no side protection or crumple zones. no parking sensors or cameras, no automatic lights or wipers, no automatic brakes or self-parking malarkey. it's as basic as it gets, and it has to be driven, not just made to go from one place to another as easily as possible. and to be honest, i prefer that to my usual runabout. ---------- Post added 07-09-2013 at 00:13 ---------- that'll be my next motoring rant ---------- Post added 07-09-2013 at 00:17 ---------- didn't spot that earlier. we're not going to argue about 16 kilograms, are we? i used the metric tonne, as my car was made in germany.
  12. when driving at night i wear really dark shades
