:hihi: hilarious! I came up with mine as a throwback to a poem I wrote (back when poetry writing was cool) about how I think that just like we watch them, the stars watch us as night too (life on other planets & blah blah blah)... but I don't think people get it ... I think people just think that star_gazing was taken

Does your passport picture do you justice?

right there with ya but I had mine professionally done for this reason - minus a wind machine it was like a model photo shoot ; so I've got no complaints about it -
Royal Plaza - whats your opinion?

He says yes to cleaners and that they're getting better with repairs - within the week usually but that there's usually no need to call them out -

One of my friends lives there and they're very penthousey; they have *everything*. Apparently it's noisy on Friday&Saturday nights if you're on the first floor on the side facing West Street. But he says that you drown out the noise after a while- and besides there are many other floors you could live on! It seems like perfect place to live - if you can afford to do so... -
I used to think the same, but a lot of places don't accept debit cards- especially online. But like suzan, I too haven't paid a penny of interest since getting my credit card, because I clear my balance at the end of the month. Apparently the problem starts when people start only paying off the minimum balance every month & let their debt spiral out of control.

Royal Mail lost an item that I'd sent. They asked me to send in a claim form to claim back the £32 compensation... Then THEY LOST THE CLAIM FORM. Now, I have to submit a claim form for the claim form (as it contained the original proof of postage- they wont accept photocopies)!!

I'm sure the female ones do! I'd love to be a film critic... Either that or a personal masseuse to a Chippendale...

Family and friends: Would you defend them?

Yes, because people can choose more than one option. -
Liksang.com has gone bust and it's Sony's fault! Damn!
stars_gazing replied to Rich's topic in General Discussions
It wasn't a compliance issue; that was such BS to cover the fact that the same product is more expensive in one country than it is in another. The funny thing is that Sony is still making a profit. After all, all PSPs come from Sony anyway. Besides, who are Sony to take on the role of "protecting" the consumers. If I buy a product from another country for half the price that it is in my country and it blows up my house, that is no one's fault but my own and I accept that. I don't need Sony watching my back. -
Silver is a metal. Something with the colour that resembles the colour of silver is called 'silver'. But silver is not a colour like: red, blue, orange (which are essentially just the refraction of white light).

Family and friends: Would you defend them?
stars_gazing replied to Solomon1's topic in General Discussions
Hmmm... That is not necessarily true. Sometimes members of your own family can be your worst enemies. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and asked if he'd help a family member if they were being attacked by a thief upstairs (whether armed or not). He said "no" and that shocked me, but he actually had reasons to "justify himself". Oh and imo character witnesses are a good idea, if interrogated correctly. They're not asked, "So... Do you think person x did it?" They're asked about unrealated incidents and what kind of reaction they feel person x would have to a hypothetical situation etc. If someone told you that one of your family members had been convicted of a crime, depending on the crime, there are some people you'd suspect straight away and others you wouldn't even think of; because you know their personalities so well. -

Lol Fine, I'll get my coat ; don't care who a person is, I wouldn't defend them against any of the above... Not reporting them doesn't count as "defence", does it? -

In Britain, you'll find that people don't really care how you are when they ask. They're just "being polite".
