  1. They're successful in other cities. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g187069-d14099012-Reviews-Hatch-Manchester_Greater_Manchester_England.html Manchester has even moved onto making them into homes https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/trailblazing-shipping-container-village-homeless-21180004
  2. No doubt the two sides have been waiting all along for Sheffield council to tell them what to do. May I suggest they now do the same to Putin and Ukraine. With a bit of luck we'll have world peace by the weekend.
  3. It will be interesting to see what happens in Blackpool South https://www.reformparty.uk/blackpool-south-constituency
  4. A school I once worked at had to give lessons in using cutlery, as the children had grown up eating with just their fingers.
  5. Sorry, can't edit - its also interesting to see the BBC link use the term "faulty" one minute and "not working properly" the next. Mine could certainly fall into the 2nd category, but its not faulty by any means
  6. I wonder if they're counting out of range as "faulty". My meters are in the garage at the front of the house, the smart meter is in the kitchen at the back, and it often drops the signal due to the distance and the number of walls between them.
  7. But at what cost? "Go woke go broke" is the term: Bud Light controversy cost parent company about $395 million in lost US sales https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/03/business/anheuser-busch-revenue-bud-light-intl-hnk/index.html Planet Fitness value plummets $400M after transgender turmoil https://www.foxbusiness.com/media/planet-fitness-value-plummets-transgender-turmoil
  8. Interesting update and the mention of "fellow Muslims" in the begging for positive feedback
  9. I remember some years ago you could buy a floppy disk containing Jolly Roger's Cookbook and another one I shan't name at car boot sales and by post from public domain shareware libraries. Now its almost an offence to just mention it
  10. And how much land is needed to feed each person?
  11. I thought this was hilarious Keir Starmer vows to cap resale music and sport ticket prices https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68563793 That's right Keir, you focus on the important things......
  12. Peeing in morse code. The joys of being a 50 something man.
  13. Not much chance of that. He'll be in a segregated wing with his fellow nonces
  14. What a joke, the Daily Mail telling people to calm down when they have SEVEN articles on today's website all covering the same thing 'Finally, everyone can calm down' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13209907/kate-middleton-pictured-smiling-princess-wales-prince-william-windsor-farm.html
  15. Absolute joke - Corbyn's Momentum lot hounded us from Labour. And that's why you got Boris.
