  1. Here at minimakers, the making and creating doesn't stop! We're putting on some fun, creative holiday sessions! There are 2 types of crafty sessions to choose from: They'll run on the first 2 weeks of the holidays and the last 2 weeks of August, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Holiday Sessions: 10.30-11.30am - sessions for all ages, 2-12yrs, Only £3 a child. Each session is different, so come to all if you want! 3-4 crafts, plus colouring, collaging, big messy art, origami, etc Booking not required, but if you can possibly give an indication if you are interested it'll help to gauge numbers. Workshops: 1-3pm - sessions for 6-12yrs, Only £13 a child/adult. Concentrating on a particular area, children can have a go at T Shirt designing (includes practice bunting), Fairy/Troll house creating (includes fairy, battery nightlight, making furniture, etc), jewellery making (includes designing and making charms, a bracelet, ring, hair grips, necklace pendant and decorating a voile bag) and decorating porcelain, glass and wood (includes mug, plate or bowl, glass or candle holder and keyring, coaster or biff bat) All materials, supplies and tools included and practice pieces too. Includes a variety of media to inspire creative minds. More details on the website. Booking/reserving a space is essential, due to maximum workshop numbers of 8 children per teacher and materials/tools. Children can be left at the Workshop Sessions (not the Holiday session), or you can book yourself a place and join in the fun and unleash your hidden creativity, by getting crafty alongside your child! All sessions are held at Gorsey Brigg Scout Hut, Off Pentland Rd (beside the shops) Dronfield Woodhouse Hope to see you there! Happy Summer Holidays, stay crafting! http://www.minimakers-classes.co.uk

  6. Hi Sharon, I saw your thread and wondered if I could be of any help. I've just started a business in Dronfield and Sheffield running arts, crafts & messy play sessions for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We've been up and running since Easter last year and know a lot of the parents look to expand the ideas from the sessions at home. I'm also venturing into the world of kids parties. I'm looking to expand so would welcome an oppurtunity to promote minimakers at hobbycraft if at all possible? Thanks Anna http://www.minimakers-classes.co.uk

  11. Hi, I've launched minimakers in Dronfield and it's going from strength to strength. I'm now looking to launch my classes in Sheffield and wondered if anyone would be interested in classes and where they would like them to be based, (areas, clubs, etc) or had any ideas where people/areas would benefit from classes like this. During the classes we offer 3 different crafts, including baking, painting, modelling, making, etc, whilst using different techniques, media and natural objects, as well as big art, a messy/sensory/discovery area, a practice area (to encourage confidence in skills, e.g: cutting, threading, etc) all finished off with a snack and drink for both carer and child. I manage to cram all this into an hour and charge £4/£4.50 on a flexible booking system. I'm a qualified art, design and technology teacher and I'm not in a franchise, but am looking to expand. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments. http://www.minimakers-classes.co.uk
