  1. Yes, absolutely no question. Its dog eat dog, and as long as you land that job and get that salary, then its fine to trample all over the other applicants
  2. Have to agree with go4it, it makes good money for the people/company in charge of these lessons. Think money would have been better spent on PE
  3. :(Perhaps the start of the big storm
  4. Snow is predicted before the end of January, perhaps even a snowstorm God help us all, start saying your prayers folks
  5. At least with this round of unemployment, we are seeing people suffer who are more deserving off a bit of pain. It may make them think twice in the future, before supporting policys that undermine the true working class. The problem is, is that its too late, the geenie is out of the bottle and policys by new labour, cannot be reversed. As long as its the leftys in non jobs feeling the pain, then I'm happy
  6. GGGGRRRRR  Only joking, people are only giving there opinions
  7. Lets not also forget that under New Labour, there were 8million inactive people (ie, people not actually working). These people were on training schemes, on the sick, in university that expanded, some people did not qualifiy to get onto the unemployment list. At least with the conservatives, we are getting a more honest picture of where we stand. Or we can elect Labour and let them fiddle the stats again
  8. Inclusion Officers, Play experts, culture and diversity officers, youth workers, drug councillors etc. etc.... the list goes on. Many of which have been booted onto the dole, and rightly so
  9. You can't count the non jobs as a boom, nor can you count the ever growing army of people without contracts, that thrived under the New Labour years. Under New Labour, this country was not the land of milk and honey, although for some it was.
  10. Did Sheffield ever come out of the recession in the 1980s and 1990s? Some people did, but those were non jobs that were created during the new labour years
  11. No - the coach taking the class would need to be checked to make sure he is not a paedo
  12. Who thought up this bright idea? In an age where we think the scout master could be a paedofile, or the football coach should have a CRB (in case he is a paedo), or anyone talking to children is perhaps a pervert - how on earth this this one get passed? I can see it now in the initial meeting "we need football coaches" ""mmm, not sure, could be paedos"" "How about a trip to a youth hostel?" ""mmm, not sure, dormatory full of kids and one adult, looks dodgy" "What about having a massage time for kids?" "mmm, how would that work" "Well it involves massaging etc..." "mmm, great idea - lets get started"
  13. JObsworths Thats the job to be in Sacking people for using common sense
  14. Unless you are being forced to share a shower cubicle, then a law passed in 1987 means you cannot refuse to work with a gay person. This also applys to any roles where your employer expects you to be naked whilst you are working
  15. This bloke seems to condone blowing up innocent people going about there everyday lives. If he hates this country so much, clear off to a country that meets his needs better
