Ummm... you are wrong on a lot of things, there was a letter from Andrew CAsh regarding car parking, saying that options were under discussion.... never mentioned that it wasn`t going to happen. secondly, they do not have a right to provide staff with free car parking (i am an NGH employee also, who is on lower bands of pay and actually read the letters that were sent so you make adjustments for it) thirdly, protest.... another NHS employee on the protest bandwagon. sorry love but count me out. Uni's and RHH have to deal with it, so do we. Life changes and we should just accept it. Chimpers.

Dear All..... I`ve been running a 5 a side team on a tuesday noight down at Pitz for (on and off) 3 years... unfortunately 4 of my seven players have left to go their various ways in the past few weeks.... I desperately need players to play for us, we play at a high standard (premier of tuesday nights) and are looking for 3/4 fairly decent players to start this tuesday. Hook, I too live on the same street (albeit the other side of the carraigeway), its an absolute disgrace how they leave it! Its not always just the students though... i know of previous landlords i have had who do the same! Let me know of any action you will take and will definitely support it. Graham

Pub quiz on thursdays at the ranmoor inn i think!!! So far a magnificent 11 out of thirty is our best to date.... quizzes and beer good....

I agree..... I think that when clubbing there is a certain element of people who can "attract trouble". I think those that are more open to the fact the world is and never will be a perfect place seem to be those that enjoy themselves a lot more. No offence sid, but seriously mate... if you think like this about clubbing you must brick it every time you leave the house!!! watch out for that traffic son, thats another worrier i bet, and don`t get me started on subway sandwiches (all those calorific sauces!). I think if you just relax a little more mate, take a step back and stop worrying you will, like the rest of us, enjoy socialising in clubs bars and even sandwich shops without fear.

Well, on my way out of the city at 6:30ish there was a burnt out car on the side of the road (and looked pretty recently done), however.... this wasn`t the problem as it was on the way back into the city (8:30ish) that we couldn`t get towards the city centre so diverted away from the parkway - No idea what the problem was, my guess is an accident of sorts

Dear All, There are two of us who are looking for an 11 a side team to start next season. Both of us haven't played 11 a side for a couple of years (me through injury, him through busy weekends). We do however play regular five a side football and hate to say it but we aint too bad (Prem of powerleague) unsure of best positions but both of us are definitely not strikers, i used to play as either left back or centre midfield. Both are easy on travelling (preferably 10 miles from city centre) and don`t mind fitting to positions to suit your team. Anyways, if anyone knows of any clubs looking for players or know of any training we can turn up for then please let us know. Cheers Chimpers.
