Sanctuary

Anybody who has been barred from Club Sanctuary, their bar has now been lifted as a suvice period has now passed and we fully understand if they do not wish to come into the venue, (yes James Brown that includes you lol)

we have been intouch with terry george (speed queen owner) and as far as he is aware the official speed queen after party and ticket sales will still be available from sanctuary and the after party is NOT going to be moving to any other venue any time soon

we do know that there is only a limeted number of gey people in sheffield but that does not mean that people from outside cant come to our venues... as soon as sheffield has got back it good reputation for a good gay night out then that will happen but while we have only got a hand full of venues people may think why go to sheffield when they have got more of a veriety elsewere like i have said before if all the venues made an effort to work together there is no reason why sheffield cant be as big as leeds or even manchester we just need to get the word out there that sheffield is getting a better gay night out with more choice of venues.

thats the best thing ive heard on this forum since i came on here im glad someone is thinking the same way as we are there is no reason why sheffiled cant be like leeds or manchester just pople have got to learn to work together

please make you mind up jamesogt one min your saying its going to be the biggest gay venue in town then next your saying that theres to many gay venues dont you think that the more gay venues there are will attract more itrest from clubbers out of sheffield so im sure there will be enough people to go around and people will make there own minds up about where they like to go

love to no were you get ur info carb but you need to sack him or her you should just ask for my mobile that way u will get the rite info the act was paid on contract befor she even came to venue and staff are paid on fri so we raised 50 pounds and we then put another 150 so 200 in total not a lot granted but not many people turned out but 200 is better than notin

theres always sanctuary, gay/ gay friendly venue, open til 3am then the afterparty til 6.30 qith speedqueen dj john dixon

also the quarter is still trading but not as a gay venue, but gay friendly , it now has many different nights from bassline to electro and is under new management.
